The minute you saw Rick, anger bubbled within you. He had jeopardised the group's place in Alexandria by acting out against Pete, a.k.a. Porch Dick.
"You're an idiot, you know that?" The words flowed from your mouth before you could think any more about it and before you knew it, you and Rick were having a full blown argument in the middle of the street. "You put us staying in Alexandria at risk Rick, what part of that don't you get?"
"I'm the one who acted out, not you or anyone else!" He raised his voice back at you, clearly annoyed with what you were accusing him of.
You let a small eye roll slip as you took a step closer to the beaten up man, ready to see if that would prove your seriousness. "If you get kicked out then we all go. We come as one Rick. Carl and Judith aren't going to leave you." You paused pondering on whether to say what you wanted to, and in the end you did. "I'm not gonna leave you."
You couldn't stop the tears, mainly ones of anger, from building up behind you eyes. "Y/N." Rick took a step closer seemingly trying to comfort you, but you stepped away.
"Just leave it." And with that, you left the bruised man in the middle of the street alone.
