You had been sitting there for a good ten minutes staring at the ex cop. You knew that he had just had a fight with Rick earlier that day, even though they both pretended that nothing had happened.
Although Shane acted tough, you knew he was hurting physically and emotionally. Eventually he had enough of your staring. "Y/N you've been looking at me non stop!" He sighed, turning his head to you properly, his injuries becoming even worse in your eyes.
"I'm just." You stopped and reached forward to touch his face to which he winced at. "These are very concerning to me." You said honestly.
"Don't worry your pretty little head about me Y/N." He said calmly, taking your hand in his with a gentle grace that you wasn't quite sure he had.
