Chapter 22
I opened my locker to a note falling out. I picked it up and read it. It said,
Gabbie,
Meet me by the bleachers after school.
It wasn't signed so I had no idea who I would meet. I stood at my locker debating whether or not I should go. At the end of it, I decided to go. I had one more period until I was meeting the mysterious person. I shut my locker and headed to my history class.
Blocking out my teacher, I was trying to figure out who could've gave me the note. Jake maybe?
"Gabbie, would you like to pay attention?" Mrs. Lawrence yelled.
"Oh sorry..."
She glared at me, then continued teaching. No one really payed attention to her. History could be interesting, but her voice was just so annoying. As soon as the bell rang, I ran out of the classroom and to the bleachers.
As soon as I saw him, I turned the other way and walked back.
"No Gabz wait!" He called.
"I don't want to talk to you, Alex," He grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.
"Can you just listen to me?"
Sighing, "What do you want to tell me?"
"I just wanted to let you know I am sorry. I know I was being a huge dick. I really regret it. I shouldn't treat my friends like that, especially you. Gabbie, you are really important to me. I was just pissed off that you and Jake started dating. I was afraid that he was going to break your heart. I just want to hang out with you guys again. Im tired of hanging out with annoying people who think they are just so perfect. I miss you guys. I miss you Gabz,"
"We all miss you too! I miss you. I'm so glad that we have you back," I gave him the biggest hug ever. His hugs were so warm and comfutable. "Now you just need to apologize to the guys. They're all at the pizza parlor. Give me a ride?" He nodded and we headed to his car.
When we entered the pizza parlor, the guys had confused looks.
"What's he doing here?" Jake growled.
"I'm sorry. I was an ass. I feel really bad for ignoring all of you. And for treating you like crap Jake. I just want my friends back," Alex bit his lip, hoping they would forgive him. All the guys cheered and gave him a hug.
"GROUP HUG!" I yelled and joined the hug.
