"Grandma!" You greeted happily as your dear grandmother arrived on a dinner at your house.

"Hello dear." She said as she pinched your right cheek making you giggle and rub your cheek to ease the pain.

"Grandma is here!" You said to your parents who were meanwhile already sitting at the dinner table.

"Hi mom." Your mom said hugging her while your father gave her a hand. "Long time no see mother, how have you been?"

"Same old me." She chuckled.

"How about your health?" Your father asked her

"Jeez." She laughed. "I may be old but I'm not dead! I can take good care of myself. Don't worry."

Your parents laughed at your grandmother's words. That woman never grows old.

"Oh right! Subin-ah, when's our other guest coming?" Your mom asked you.

"Hm...he should arrive any moment now." You said looking outside the window.

"He?" Your grandmother asked curiously. "Your boyfriend?"

Her question made you almost choke. "Grandma! No~ he's my best friend."

"Pfft." She sighed, obviously not wanting to believe you. "That's what they all say. I've been young too."

"Grandma..." You said shyly. You didn't want to admit it, but your grandma was right, you did have some feelings towards Kino.

*Triiinnnnggg*

"Oh! That should be him! My grandson In Law." Your grandma cheered in excitement as you rolled your eyes with a chuckle and went to open the door.

"Hey Subin!" Kino said as he hugged you.

"Come in!" You smiled as you led him in.

He greeted your parents politely and made a 90 degrees bow.

"And this is my grandmother." You said hoping she wouldn't make fun of you again.

Kino shook her hand and bowed. "Hello Grandmother."

"Hello my grand-" you cut her off by shooting her a glare.

"I mean...., nice to see Subin having such a handsome boy in her life." She corrected herself making you facepalm.

"Let's all start eating now, or the food will het cold." You mom said smiling as everyone sat at the table.

"He would be such a great grandson In Law." Your grandmother whispered to you as you looked at Kino. He seemed to notice it was about him, but you just smiled it away awkwardly.

In the middle of having dinner and talking about all random and recent news... grandma started again.

"So...Kino was your name right?" Grandma asked Kino.

"My real name's Kang Hyunggu ma'am, but Kino's nickname that Subin made up for me actually." Kino explained.

"Kang Hyunggu?" She asked. "Hm...Kang Subin sounds pretty good right?" Your grandma asked looking at you.

I looked at her with big eyes and quickly looked down, unable to meet Kino's eyes.

"Grandma~" I whined as Kino cleared his throat.

"I-it's okay." He chuckled as he rubbed the back of his neck.

There was a awkward mood hanging in the air till you guys were done eating.

"I'll do the dishes now." Your mom said as she went to the kitchen.

"Um... I'll go send Kino outside then." you said as you left the table earning a wink from your grandmother.

"So...." Kino said awkwardly as you guys stoot outside.
It was actually pretty chilly outside, especially now that it's winter.

"I... I'm sorry for my grandmother's behavior this evening, sometimes she can be pretty..." You explained trying to find the word to describe it.

"It's okay." He laughed.

There was a silence as the two of you just stoot in the cold air.
You were actually getting it cold and he seemed to notice.

"Are you cold?" He asked as you immediately shook your head.

He giggled at your behavior. "Look at you, you're all shivering from the cold. Come here."

He pulled you closer and opened his jacket as he wrapped the sides of his jacket around your arms as he hugged you tightly. Warming you up with his body warmth.

Your head was pressed against his chest as you could hear his heartbeat.

"It's beating so fast." You mumbled, just loud enough for him to hear.

"That's what you do to me Subin. Whenever I see you or am around you, my heart automatically starts to beat faster." He confessed.

"I really like you." He whispered as he looked deeply into your eyes.

"I like you too Kino." You admitted.

He leaned in and kissed you passionately.

"What's taking so long Subi-" Your Grandmother said coming outside until she saw the two of you.

"We uh..." Kino tried to explain.

"I don't need an explanation." Your grandma said smiling like crazy.

She whispered you a 'told you so' as she went back inside making you giggle.

"Where's Subin? I thought you went to het her?" Your mom asked your grandmother.

"She's with her boyfriend now." She said proudly.
