JHope's pov

I couldn’t imagine that my girlfriend has to be with somebody who isn’t me, forever.

Just hearing the news of her being engaged was enough to make me cry myself to sleep some nights, asking why it couldn’t be me. Why it never could be me.

It’s like a fire in my chest that keeps burning, telling myself that I’ll never be good enough. It’s a sting in my heart that makes me realize that the person I would die for, isn't the person I'm going to share the rest of my life with. Not anymore.

"One more please." Hoseok said huskily as he ordered another shot of whiskey. His seventh glass already this night.

The reason why he's being like this is that he found out you were getting married to someone else. Some guy named Namjoon.

"Why do you have to do this to me Janie?" I whined as he chucked down another glass of alcohol.

End of JHope's pov

Meanwhile you were at home pacing up and down with a worried expression.

"Were would he be?"you thought concerned. Because your boyfriend hasn't come home yet and it's past 2am already.

You decided to call him and gave in the digits.

"Why you doing this to me?" You heard Hoseok whine huskily at the other side of the phone.

"Hoseok? A-are you drunk? Where are you?" Worry rushed through your body as the line went dead.

"Oh no..." You thought. "Did he find out about the wedding?"

For the past few weeks you tried to keep the arranged marriage with Namjoon a secret from Hoseok. You didn't want to hurt him.

You snapped out of your thoughts as your phone went off. It was Hoseok again and you didn't hesitate to pick up.

"Hoseok? Are you okay?" You immediately asked but you were interrupted by a lower voice.

"Excuse me miss." He started. "But I think you should pick up the owner of this number. He passed out after having too many shots of alcohol."

"Send me the address. I'll be there in a minute." You said before putting your jacket on.

You arrived at the pub after getting the address and saw a familiar figure sitting at the bar with his head resting on the table.

"Hoseok?" You said as you softly shook his body, trying to wake him up. But he wouldn't budge.

"Jung Hoseok." You said a bit louder and he slowly opened his eyes.

"Janie." He immediately said getting up and hugged you but he was a bit tipsy so he sunk through his knees causing you to hold him tightly.

"Are you drunk?" You asked.

"No." He giggled geeky, "I'm just intoxicated by you."

"Let's go home." You reassured him and put his arm over your shoulder before going back home.

Arriving at your and Hoseok's shared apartment. You laid him down on the couch and laid down next to him, admiring his Beautiful features.

Suddenly the thought of your arranged marriage came back and you started to tear up. You decided to go upstairs so Hoseok wouldn't wake up by hearing your sobs.

You got up from the couch and wanted to go upstairs until a searching hand found yours.

"Don't go. Please don't leave me." He said with his eyes closed.

You blinked a few times to stop your tears from falling and sat down next to him before being pulled into a tight hug.

"Tell me it was all a lie. Please tell me they were lying about you marrying another guy." Hoseok said as his voice hitched.

You wanted to tell him the truth but he looked so hurt and broken right now so you just pat his back while reassuring him.

"Don't worry Hobie. I won't leave you." You said as a tear escaped from your eyes but you are your best to keep smiling, even though you were hurting inside.

"That's good." He said giving you a small smile with teary eyes. "As long as you don't leave me." He said inching closer to kiss you.

You let out a little chuckle as he started kissing your chin instead of your lips.

You cupped his face and connected your lips with his as he smiled like an idiot.

"I'm glad your mine Janie." He whispered through the kiss as your guilt started building up.

"I'm sorry Hoseok, I don't mean to lie to you. I just hate to see you suffer this way." You thought to yourself, as you hugged him tighter.

"I love you Janie." He said burying his face in your neck.

"I love you too Hobie. More than anyone on this planet."
