You were standing in your kitchen, just finished making breakfast and started decorating Rocky's birthday cake.
You were very excited for his reaction when he'll see your beautiful creation, especially because you woke up at 6 AM to bake a cake for him.
Everything for him right?

You were icing the cake as you heard someone coming downstairs. It could be no one else than Minhyuk, or how you'd always call him, Rocky.

You quickly finished icing the cake and put it in the fridge before he reached you.

"Hey babe." He said yawning. You were sure he just woke up, seeing from his messy morning hair and sleepy eyes.

"Good morning." You said smiling and pecked his lips. "Happy birthday by the way." You turned back around to the pancakes you made this morning and put some of them on the plates.

"Did you make breakfast for me?" He said resting his chin on your shoulder while backhugging you.

You hummed in reply, "I made your favorite pancakes." You said.

Normally he doesn't like pancakes, but he really liked yours.

You guys sat at the table and ate breakfast, as Rocky suddenly stoot up.

"W-what are you going to do?" You asked in panic.

He looked at you weirdly and chuckled, "don't worry, I'm just getting something to drink."

"In the fridge?" You said, hoping that he doesn't see the cake.

He giggled at your behavior. "Where else? Medha, are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine." You replied and gave him a reassuring smile. But right when he wanted to walk towards the fridge, you held his hand, stopping him.

"What is it?" He asked a bit more serious this time.

"Um.. nothing." You laughed uneasy, "I'll get it for you." You said.

"No babe, you don't have to." He said with a laugh.

"Ofcourse I do. It's your birthday today, so you can just eat your pancakes peacefully, while I'm getting something to drink." You said sitting him back on his chair and headed to the fridge yourself. Kinda sighing in relieve.

You got him a glass or orange juice and sat back down.
You tried your best to avoid eye contact with him before he'd notice that you're lying.

"...Stop lying to me." He suddenly said with a smirk and looked deeply in your eyes.

"Huh? What?" You asked and cleared your throat, getting it warm.

"Babe, I know you hid a cake from me in there." He chuckled making you look at him.

"W-what are you talking about?" You tried to deny it.

"Because." He said standing up and came to you, leaning forward at your eye height. "There's icing on your face."

You blushed at his words and touched your right cheek, trying to get rid of it but Rocky interrupted.

"Pabo~ it's on your left cheek." He laughed and wiped it away with his thumb himself.

At this moment your cheeks were burning and you looked down to hide it. But Rocky pulled you into a tight hug.

"Thank you." He whispered... "You're the best." ...and kissed you.
