"Hey babe." Namjoon said coming home and hugged you.

"Hey, how was your day?" You asked him and rested your head against his chest.

"Pfft, just like normally. Work, work work..." He sighed. You smelled the scent of his shirt and it smelled... different.

"Did you use a new detergent? You smell differently." You said furrowing your eyebrows.

Namjoon looked away nervously. "I don't know, maybe your new perfume?" He said shrugging and went to the living room, plopping himself on the couch.

You sat in his lap and put your arms around his neck. "What's wrong?" You asked, cuz you noticed he's very nervous. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." He quickly answered and gave you a little smile without making eye contact, wich you thought was pretty odd.

"What's this?" You asked spotting a kind of red stain on his collar.

"Huh? Um nothing." He said startled and puts his hand over the red stain.

"What's wrong?" You asked confused. "It looked like... lipstick?"

He chuckled uneasy. "I had a nosebleed this morning. That's all." He lied.

Your questions and the nerves were hitting on him so Namjoon got up and told you he went to the bathroom for a minute.

You saw his phone on the couch. "Probably fell out of his back pocket." You thought.

Some voice in your head or your womanly instinct, told you to check his phone. You shook your head to get rid of the thought.

"Namjoon would never do that. He'd never cheat on me." You mumbled but still, you were curious.

A new message popped up on his phone wich made it even harder for you not to look. So you carefully looked back if Namjoon was around and grabbed his phone.

"Who's this...Jinah?" You thought suspicious.

You checked all the messages they've send to eachother.

Namjoon: hey baby girl

Jinah: hey, are u free today?

Namjoon: nah, my girlfriend's here.

Jinah: does she know about..you know..us?

Namjoon: no ofcourse not ...

Jinah: Can't you just make up an excuse?? I'm very lonely...

Namjoon: okay, okay... I'll be there in 10 minutes.

Tears appeared as you read all those messages.

"I was right...he did have another." A tear rolled over your cheek as you quickly wiped it away.

"Jenell?! What are you doing?!" Namjoon yelled and snatched his phone out of your hand.

"Me? What do you think you're doing?!" You said back sobbing.

"What? I-...babe I can explain."

"Don't call me that. I'm sure you're calling everyone 'babe'." You said and grabbed your jacket.

"I'm sorry okay! Please don't go."

"Just a 'sorry' is not gonna make it all better. You cheated on me!"

"Please, It was a mistake. I don't love her, I love you."

You chuckled sarcastically. "A mistake? It's like a sin to me!"

"It's not what you think..." He sighed.

"It's exactly what I'm thinking. You smell different lately, that red lipstick stain and you being all secretly with your phone. Namjoon... I'm done with you.." you said and left.

《2 years later..》

After you left Namjoon, your friends kept telling you to forgive him. you and Namjoon kinda had the same friends group so you nearly went out, mostly because you were afraid to bump into Namjoon.
They said that he's a mess without you and totally heartbroken.
To be honest, you did miss him. Alot actually. His warm hugs, his smile and not forget, his cute showing dimples.

You never went on a real date ever since you broke up with him. Everyday you just spend it in joggings and oversized T-shirts.

One day you went to the groceries to get some milk and eggs. You payed, and bumped into someone when you turned around.

"I'm so sorry, I-... Jenell?" He heard a familiar voice and looked up to see his face.

"N- Namjoon..." You stutter.

"Hey, long time no see." He smiled showing you the dimples that you missed "How have you been?"

"Um..." What should you tell him? That you are always alone at home and always wearing jogging clothing?
"Just...like every other day." You replied.
"Worst reply, ever." You thought by yourself, face palming mentally.

You look down in embarrassment because of the way you looked. If you had known that he'd be here, you had atleast wore something more presentable.

"You look great." Namjoon said making you look at him.

"Oh...um... really?" You thought and tucked your hair behind you ear of shyness.

"I miss you Jenell." He suddenly said.

"I...miss you too Namjoon." You said.

"About what happened two years ago-"

"Let's just forget about it." You cut him off. "It was two years ago. It's all in the past now."

"Would you like to...maybe..start over?" He asked.

You smiled at his words. "I'd love to."
