"Where were you? I couldn't find you today." Jihye said as you were back at home.

"I'm sorry..." You apologized.

"It's fine. I know you're having a hard time after.. you know. But you shouldn't think that you're alone okay? We are here for you."

You nodded without saying anything back.

"Let's go to the basketball game alright? Everyone's going to be there. It'll be fun, hm?" She asked you but you weren't too excited for it.

Everything reminded you of Marcus.

Marcus really liked to play basketball, but he kept it a secret for others. Except for you since your his best friend. His only friend.

《Flashback》

"Hey! Y/n!" Marcus yelled at you as he was playing basketball with you sitting on the side, reading.

"What?" You asked still focused reading.

"Catch!!" He said and threw the ball at you, wich you caught just at time.

"Yah!" You said with a warning look as he laughed at you. "You thought that was funny?"

"Maybe?" He grinned.

You just rolled your eyes at him before seeing something interesting.

"W-what is this?" You asked him. "Why's my name written on the basketball?"

"Oh, um that..." He said shyly and chuckled. "Well...I tend to write your name on it, it brings me luck for some reason."

"Nonsense." You scoffed but laughed after...

《End of flashback》

You eventually agreed Jihye to go to the game. It was very crowded there.

You didn't really pay alot of attention to all the people there. You were just sitting on a bench and staring blankly in front of you, not even paying attention to the game.

When the game was over,Jihye noticed that you didn't payed attention at all throughout the whole game.

"Are you alright?" She asked.
You didn't relpy, not even making eyecontact. You blinked a few times to stop your tears from appearing.

"I-im sorry, I.. I shouldn't have brought you here. Let's go home." She apologized.

"No.. It's okay. You guys can go first, I'm staying here a little longer." You said giving her and your group of friends a weak smile.

She nodded in reply and left with the rest.

"Wait.." she said and gestured to the others to go first. "Y/n...you will come to my party tomorrow, right?" She carefully asked.

I gave her a small smile. "I will."

"Thanks." She said smiling and left.

You just sat there until most of the people went home.

You saw the basketball players leaving and went to the field.

You picked the ball up and shot into the ring.

"Nice shot." You heard someone behind say.

You turned around and saw him again.

"Still remember me? I'm Mark." He introduced stretching his hand out for you to shake.
