Nick (POV)

I stood by the gates watching as the last of the civilians left Foxden leaving behind their homes and memories. Once the last of them left I looked around me at the Defonsores who had formed a tight half circle around me. I noticed that two wolves from earlier were the first ones in the group.

"How many crates of supplies were you able to pack?" I asked them.

"Just about all of them sir." the black furred wolf said proudly.

"All the cars are packed and ready to go when you are, sir." the white furred wolf said, standing straight and tall. He was obviously proud to work with me. I looked at the other and noticed that they had a a look of defeat on their faces and hung their heads down.

"Why are you all sad?" I asked looking around.

"This is our home, sir." a boar answered gesturing to Foxden in general.

"We don't want to give it up with out a fight." a bobcat followed up.

"I know what you mean." I replied. And I actually meant it. I lost my home and I wasn't there to protect it. It cost me and my dad a lot of pain, but it also gave us a reason to fight harder. "But don't confuse a single defeat with a final loss, soldiers. We may lose Foxden but we will get it back. And you mammals will be the ones taking it back. Is that clear?"

I looked around and saw some nods and heard some agreement

I looked around and saw some nods and heard some agreement. "I said is that clear?" I asked louder, this time I got some more agreements but not enough. "Are you death? Come on! I said, is that clear?!" I asked even louder and I was met with a chorus of 'Sir, yes. Sir' it was deafening but I asked again just for the sake of it.

"IS THAT CLEAR!?" I shouted and they shouted back with twice as much energy than when they had started.

"SIR, YES, SIR" they shouted at the top of their lungs. I heard howls from the wolves and wild dogs, I heard the felines and bears roar and I saw a look of purpose in everyone's eyes.

"Foxden!" I shouted pumping my fist in the air.

"Foxden! Foxden!" they all started chanting. Drew one of my blade and held over my head. They all did the same thing and actually changed their chant. "Wilde!" they shouted jumping up and down. Which quickly caught me offguard. I knew I pumped them up and shit, but damn, I wasn't expecting this.

"Alright! Alright!" I shouted getting the crew to calm down. Which happened surprisingly quick. "Get your asses into your cars and lets go. We have a war to win!"

"Hooah!" they shouted proudly and jogged over to the line of parked Humvees.

"Cursoribus!" I heard the one person I dispiced most in this town.

"I thought I told you to evacuate with the civilians Silvio." I said turning around. I saw Silvio in his usual attire except his suit was a dark grey that, I hate to admit, complemented his fur.
