Then a portal opened up at my feet and I fell in. Fell into Error's dimension. Again.

I stumbled as I landed. I whipped around, surprised  and confused. But I didn't whip around to see Error, but instead Chara.

"C-Chara?" I called, concerned.

"Frisk... It... It hurts..." She fell to her knees, to reveal her soul being squeezed to a near death point. By Error.

"Error! Stop it! You're going to kill her!" I called helplessly, seeing that his destructive side had been triggered.

"She's just a glitch. And this is the first of many."

Then, in a moment of genius, I launched myself towards him, making him loose his concentration.

"Come on, Error! Come back to the Multiverse, please!"

He threw me off him, leaving his grip on Chara. I swiftly ran over to her, covering her. She had fallen even further to her knees, weakened.

"Error, please. Please stop this. We're so close to defeating Nightmare. We're so close. Please, just come back."

His eyes then blinked once more and faded back to their original color.

"I... I am so sorry. I don't know what triggered me... Maybe Nightmare's appearance finally took it's toll or... But I so very sorry."

I nodded, turning to tend to Chara.

"Chara? It's okay, you're safe. He isn't going to hurt you. Please, can I just see your face?"

She weakly turned and looked at me, to show that small wounds on her body had started to bleed.

"Oh, my God!" I started panicking, looking back to Error to tell him, "Get me back gto my timeline and to a hospital. Now, please."
