Chapter 31

Stacy

"Why is he so difficult." I sighed. Piper shook her head.

"Just give him some space, he'll come around, just you watch. He's got a lot on his plate already, you know, with two people who have broken an oath that was sworn on the river Styx." So that's what he was not telling me... Why? It's something I should be a part of, after all Leo is dating that Alex or is it Liv, girl.

I nodded to Piper before standing up. I'm going to get some breakfast, want some?" I asked.

"I've already had some but thanks anyway." I walked out of my room and into the elevator. The elevator stopped at the boys floor and Percy walked in with a drachma.

"Percy? Why do you have a drachma?"

"Oh, hey Stacy, um, it's to contact my mum, haven't spoken to her in ages, I'm just gonna let her know Annabeth and I are going to come and visit her today." Cute.

"Okay." The elevator made a bing noise signalling the doors were about to open.

When the doors opened I walked out and immediately ran into someone. "Whoa watch it!" I called pushing myself up off the ground.

"Gods sorry." Nico? I pushed him away from me. "Stacy?" I waved before waking into the kitchen where Leo stood making... Correction frying cheese.

"Hey sis." Leo said shoving a piece of the hot cheese into my mouth.

"Hi." I mumbled, trying to eat the overlooked squeaky cheese.

"Eat up its good for you." Leo said. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Liv come up. She came over to Leo and I and took the frying pan away from my brother. Leo stood there registering what just happened. "Hey." Leo finally said. "That's mine."

"No more, I'm confiscating this until you calm down. I'm sure you guys will work out something." I could've sworn at the end Liv mumbled a 'you have to' here come the waterworks. Psych, but seriously we need to work this out. If the gods wanted not her and, what's her name? Gucci? No Channel? Nope Prada? Yeah well that was her fake name anyway, dead they would've done it already. They are gods for crying out loud. They could demolish an entire city if they felt like it.

"Guys!" I yelled getting everyone's attention. Even Nico who I met eyes with. His big puppy dog eyes. Snap out of it, when he's ready he'll apologise. Well he better. "I just had a thought-"

"Oh no. Everyone watch out, the world is gonna end!" Leo yelled. Everyone turned to face my brother all bearing the same 'wtf' look. "Stacy was thinking. Sheesh tough crowd." I shook my head and pretended that never happened

"As I was saying. If the gods wanted these girls dead... Wouldn't they have done it by now, like c'mon, they're gods."

"She's got a point." Annabeth said standing forward. "If they wanted Liv and Nick dead they would've done it by now. So, why? Why haven't they?"

"Lunch break?" Percy asked and received a slap to the back of the head by Annabeth.

"Maybe they let this one slide, after all they are friends of ours and we have saved the world and the gods multiple times." Nico said. This was the first time the son of hades had said something this whole time.

"Yeah they owe us." Percy said. Leo looked down. Why? He looked both angry and sad at the same time, like he was remembering something really important or something sad. I should find out later.

Calypso. I haven't gone to come back and get her yet. I haven't even thought about it until just now. I feel horrible, scratch that, worse than horrible, I feel like all of my epic inventions have just blow up simultaneously.
