Escapes
Like a cigarette, you were my stress reliever.
Your lips, like wine, helped me forget who we were.
2 people, lost and running away
We were tragic, but we were no Shakespeare play
We crashed into each other
I was Looking for escapes, you became another.
I lost myself within the words you spoke
From knowing you, but not really at all, feelings awoke.
Somehow, you killed me, but gave
me life
I made it out, but I barely survived.
