 That Girl

She's that girl

Who lives in her own little world

The one who dreamed by day

And created by night

But she is invisible

To the majority of the world

They only see her

When she makes remarks

Or draws attention to herself

She does crazy things

Has hopes and dreams

Who hums her own melodies

But it always seems

That her existence isn't known

Yet when they do play along

They do not know

Exactly how strong

Are the walls she holds

For she has been wronged

Put all her love

To someone who just came along

To someone who never

Held her close

It was the start

Of several layers

That surrounded her heart

It was because of this

She poured herself

Into everything artsy she did

And when a snicker came

From here and there

She closed herself off

She was the girl

Who could never love freely

That girl

Who acted like stone

A girl

Who hated to be be alone

The girl

Everyone walked past

She was

That girl

Who was made of

Bulletproof glass
