Slowly, At Ease
There was an image
Of a girl
The one who would lie next to me
It was a visage
The beauty leaning over me
As my hands ran down her back
Our lips would come intact
This was my image
Of the girl
The apparition that has split from me
It was my courage
My hubris softly annulling me
I wondered how far I'd go
My soul would never know
Slowly, at ease
Take your hand away from me
You thought you were apart of me
Oh, please
I dream
Of the world in which I'm free
This means
You cannot comprehend what you've done to me
I see, various aspects
Manifesting inside my head
Those insects
While I'm lying in my bed
Now your image has been replaced
I can no longer see that face
The beauty
Haunting, ghostly
What do I do now that I'm in this state
I have to go on
I must decide my fate
Slowly, at ease
Place your hand upon my cheek
My heart, appease
Now glance my lips before I speak
Slowly, at ease
Slowly
Slow
