It seems Buck House
Needs some repairs,
Among the other Royal cares.
Phil's not good at D.I.Y,
He's a little old to try.
Charles is busy hugging trees,
And Andrew won't get on his knees.
Edward just gets in a huff,
He can't get on with Princing stuff.
William's busy with his Kate,
Harry's off with his new date.
But the bill still must be paid,
So we'll cough up I am afraid.
After all, we're common folk,
Do as we're told, when they have spoke.
We won't complain
We'll just cough up,
And help to fill the royal cup.
We should be proud
To spend our cash,
So they can hoard their royal stash.
After all, it's only fair, isn't it??
A/N it has just been announced that the taxpayer is to foot the bill for repairs to Buckingham Palace, to the tune of £360 million + it seems little upkeep has been done for the last sixty years. Of course, it is unlikely they will become homeless. They still have Windsor Castle, Balmoral Castle, Sandringham, Kensington Palace. I expect we should look forward to getting their bills in due course.
