Shane just sat in his apartment. There was nothing else he could do anyway. He didn't know what his daily routine had been like before. He didn't even know if he had had a daily routine. Maybe his life was a crazy, unexpected surprise all the time. He hadn't been surprised lately though. The biggest surprise he could receive, the only surprise he wanted to receive, was getting his memory back.
He had looked through every inch of his apartment, read every scrap of paper, looked through every photograph, read every email, and went through every contact to see if he could find any hint to his puzzle of a life. No such luck yet. He didn't know how much longer he could take. He was tired of sitting there. Having no memory and starting life with a clean slate was too hard when one was twenty-three. He needed his memory; he needed his life back. He needed a hint at least! He had done nothing productive since he had woken up in the hospital and since he had been discharged. He really hoped that he had done something productive when he had known who he was.
But he needed to know who he had been and he needed to be that person. It was the only thing he thought about. It was time to call Jugatxi (Joo-gaht-see). She didn't want to get in his way since she technically was a stranger to him, but she had also made it very clear that she would help him if he needed anything.
