Okay so I'm a night-time security guard at Hawaii Prepatory Academy (private high school) in Waiamea. Or as the company I work work for likes to call it "security Professional" but anyway at this campus I swear NONE of the faculty or students have any common sense. Yes my job is to lock down the campus but to not have to attended to EVERY TEACHERS PERSONAL CLASSROM BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO LOCK UP THEIR OWN DOORS.

As well as this school has dormitorys for boarding students from well all over the world so each dorm has a set of "dorm parents" surrogate parents. Adults who are in charge of the students who are living away from mom and dad. You would think for a private boarding academy they would be on it about making sure that things are locked up right and secure right?

WRONG

it pisses me off the carelessness of the dorm parents here and the carelessness the school has about training the dorm parents to do their job right.

I've been working this site for only a month and every single night there are doors left unlocked INCLUDING the FRONT door. For one dorm as well as more than once I've found that the dorm parent is stupid enough to not arm the building at night if they can't get the building to arm because they are to lazy to go and check that every alarmed door is closed and locked. The dorm parent just up and leaves I mean how fucking responsible is that?

As well as like I said it is my job to lock down the campus. I lock up certain common areas in use till dark after the students clear out and check that the faculty and staff did their job and closed and locked everything their supposed to. It is not to continuously have to clean up after your no good lazy asses because you think if you leave it then security will catch it.
