~~Ok i know this is supper supper late. Last week was my first day at a new school so i wasn't really thinking streight, n this is a day late because I had a lot to do last night. Hoping to get my things in cheack this week sorry for the delay.

"Sorry, I just have a lot going through my mind," I said kindly, turning my body slightly towards him. He sat beside me with his arm over the back of the couch and his body angled towards mine. I wouldn't have noticed it if this had been a normal conversation on a normal day, but his eyes had held a spark of disappointment when I hadn't spoken. I wondered why.

He gave me a worried look, one that instigated me to keep talking. "It's just that I don't understand why we all have to be back tomorrow. I thought maybe since they postponed the meeting until tomorrow, they wouldn't be bringing us back. It doesn't add up. Then when I was over with my dad and they started talking he sent me over here." I rambled. "It just doesn't make sense." I looked back up at him. "Sorry, I was rambling wasn't I." I sighed. "I shouldn't have said anything, I'm sorry."

I slouched back down into the sofa. My mind clouded with thoughts. Of embarrassment, confusion, and worry. I look back over at Dilan to see his expression soften. I smiled up at him.

~~sorry it's so short
