Yes hate is strong.

Yes hate can hurt you severely.

Yes hate can instill fear in you.

But never forget that love still exists in this world.

It may be hard to find.

It may be hard to believe in it when the world seems like such a dark place.

But it does exist.

You can find it in the simplest of things.

When the sun shines on you in the morning and provides you with that Vitamin D.

When a famous celebrity you look up to thanks you, their fans, and expresses their genuine gratitude for you.

When your otp in a show actually becomes canon (*ahem* YOI) and you see the love their eyes contain as they gaze at each other.

When you look in the mirror and tell yourself that you can get through this day and that you will survive.

When you feel proud of yourself for an achievement you made.

When a friend consoles you in your worst moments.

Love is everywhere and it doesn't have to be romantic or friendly...it can be self-love, it can be love for nature, love an idol shows their fans.

That's what makes love greater than hate.

Because love is everywhere and if we look at the right places or have a healthy mindset, we can experience love even in the lowest point of our lives.

And yes, social media can be toxic to us, because so much hate brews on these sites. But there are positivity blogs, safe space blogs, blogs w helpful tips to survive horrible ordeals and forums for people experiencing various tough times to unite, console and advise one another.

So make it a point to surround yourself w positivity, compliment yourself, take care of yourself (even taking your meds or getting yourself a glass of water is love), keep the sweet words of friends/family close to your heart and get through the day motivated on love. It can be love for your idols, love for your friends, love for yourself, love for nature, etc.

Yes, hate is strong. But I love you and believe that you are stronger.
