Scarlett's P.O.V.
I turned my head to see Kate still looking out the passenger's window with an expressionless face. I started to worry a little bit because she as always the emotional friend and I loved that about her. I haven't seen her this way since Anthony first laid his hands on her. Thinking about it made my grip on the wheel tighten and muscles tense. I could kill that lame excuse of a man. I wanted to rip his stone cold heart out his chest and feed it to him. Gruesome, yes, he deserves it. I huffed as I stopped at a red light and looked over at Kate, who still held that blank expression.
"Kate com'on you have to talk to me. I can't help you if you don't talk to me." I turned my attention back to the street when the light turned the bright green that I liked to see. I press slightly on the gas to move the car forward when I felt the car lurch the right. I felt a stinging sensation on the left side of my body. It felt like a thousand needles were piercing my skin. Everything was blurry, spinning, and red. There was red everywhere. My leg felt like a two thousand pound elephant had tap-danced on it and my vision was about as good as a bat's. There was this annoying ringing that wouldn't stop in both of my ears. I tried to turn my head to look at Kate, but the slightest movement sent what felt like an electric shock throughout my right side and I let out a blood-curdling scream that never seemed to stop. I felt something hooking under my body and pulling myself out of the damage. I was getting pissed because this haze that clouded my vision wouldn't disappear. I was also pissed that whoever pulled me out of my totaled car did not grab Katie first.
"K..Ka...Kate." I spoke throught the blood coming out of my mouth. It slowly made it's way down my chin and onto my shirt.
"Shh, kid you need a doctor." The man's voice was so familiar, but it was incredulously distant. It sounded like the last voice of an echo. My eyes felt like sandbags as they started to slide shut. I heard soft sirens that sounded to far away. I was desperately clinging onto life as I felt something old against my back and almost silent sirens. I needed to see Kate, she needed to be okay. Kate please, please be okay, I silently pleaded to myself as I felt myself start to fall into a dark abyss.
Harry's P.O.V.
Scott's kitchen phone started ringing like crazy and it was rather annoying. I was glad when the butler, Alfred, picked up the phone and started speaking quietly into the receiver. His eyes grew wide as he listened carefully to the voice on the other. I began to get curios when he started to press a button next to the phone that was probably a buzzer to forward a call or something of that sort.
"Good God Alfred! What is so important that you have to interrupt my studies?!" Mr. Hansen yelled as he came into the kitchen. The boys and I looked back and forth at each other as Alfred hung the phone up and turned to Scott.
"It's Scarlett and Katie, sir." Alfred replied in a respected and hurried tone.
"What about Scar and Kate?" Scarlett's father asked carefully as he squinted little as if to question Alfred's authority.
"There's been an accident, sir, Scarlett's car was totaled and she's in a critical condition in the hospital. Somehow Kate managed only a broken arm and a few minor cuts." I stood up worriedly as well as the guy. Scott's eyes were wide with worry and he start to fumble around for his keys. When he found them he threw them to me.
"Harry you and the boys take get a head start to the hospital. I'll meet you there with Jace." He ran out of the kitchen yelling for Jace to hurry up because his sister was in the hospital. The lads and I ran out to the garage and I clicked the unlock button the find the car, which happen to be a Range Rover, and we all hopped in. I drove as fast as I could to the hospital trying to not draw attention to the fact that I was speeding. I prayed as we reached the hospital in under ten minutes for Scarlett to be holding onto her life with as much strength as she had beauty.
