Nona

I woke up in my bed with a muscular arm over my chest. I felt a cold wind as I moved the covers a bit. I was naked. And apparently so is this man. I thought for a second of who this could possibly be. But the only man that's been around me is Dell. This couldn't-

"What's wrong?"

"Dell?"

I turned around to be kissed on the forehead. "Dell, what happened last night?"

"You'll remember soon enough."

And it's almost sad to say, but he was right. My thighs throbbed, my heart began racing, and memories of last night came rushing back.

"Did we at least use protection?"

"You wouldn't let me in the room without a condom."

"Good for me. Very good job."

"Hell yea. For you..." He mumbled something under his breath. It almost sounded as if he was irritated by using a condom.

I shrugged and took a shower, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and left to cook breakfast. Thanks to Kiara taking the girls for the night, I didn't have to worry about a guilty conscience. But as far as breakfast, I had to worry about how much food to cook. I haven't had to cook for more than two in a very long time. I cooked waffles, turkey bacon, eggs, hash browns, and Lolo and my personal favorite, ham and cheese crepes.

"Damnnnnnn! It smell good in here. What you cookin' girll!" Dell sang, walking into the kitchen, giving me a quick kiss on my lips.

He smiled at me as I got my fruit bowl out of my refrigerator. I picked out a grape and tossed it towards his mouth. He caught it, causing the both of us to laugh. I took the rest of the food out of the oven and off the stove and plated the food. I fixed Lolo's plate with what I knew she wanted and had Dell make Riley and his plates. I made me and Kiara's. After the table was set, me and Dell went upstairs to get dressed.

"Scottie."

"Yes, Dell?"

"You think me and you could work out? I mean, you're the same person. I'm basically the same person. We both have equal success. You're going to be working for the Warriors this season... I honestly think you should give me a -"

"Man, you talk too much. Come here." I grabbed his cheeks, placing a huge kiss on his lips. "I don't mind taking chances. But whatever happens... make sure Riley is never unhappy."

He stared at me for a minute. A long minute. He studied my features... I knew what was coming.

"Don't even. I love you too. Okay?" I said with a small smile.

He grinned like a fool before nodding. Soon I heard the door open and two little voices.

Mommy! Tia! Mommy! Tia! Dada! Tia! Dada!

"Those kids of ours huh?" Dell laughed as we followed each other downstairs.

We all ate breakfast and Dell decided that we should have a public picnic for lunch. We agreed and cleaned up. The girls went up to change and Kiara sat on the couch with Dell and me.

"Y'all! I'm so tired! We went to movies and I forgot they had ice cream before y'all left. And them little Tanzanian devils wore me out! I mean they was going at it. 'Kiki can I have this?' 'Kiara can I have that?' 'Miss Kiki, where my mommy?' They was putting in work, y'all! But they get along beautifully." Kiara sighed.

Dell smiled at me and kissed my cheek, making me blush. We sat and talked about how we were gonna tell the girls that Riley, Lolo, Stephen, and I are moving into my home in the suburbs.

"So wait.... who house is this?" Kiara asked.

"My daddy's." I sighed.

"I always thought this was your house." Dell said. "I know you got that little apartment."

"Does he still live here?" Kiara asked.

I shook my head. "He's somewhere with some random skank. You know he's like... a hoe."

Dell laughed as Kiara looked frightened.

"What is taking them two so long?" I asked, getting up and walking upstairs.

When I got there, Lolo was putting a band aid on Riley's knee, whilst Riley wiped her crying eyes

"Aww, baby what happened?" I asked, picking up Riley.

"Tia, she fell in the hallway. The carpet hurt her." Lauren explained.

"Awww, well thank you for being a good friend, Lolo. Why don't you go downstairs and I'll help Riley get her shoes on." I said as Lauren nodded and headed downstairs.

After I put on Riley's shoes, she fell asleep on my hip and we headed to the picnic.
