So today marks a month that me and Dell have rekindled or friendship and I'm just so happy. He's perfect. He's everything he was before. I actually got a chance to spend time with him and Riley yesterday. And today Dell and his family are having a family reunion. I was invited by a few of his family members but Mama Sonya invited me also so I'm going for her.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.

"Hey, Scotty."

I playfully rolled my eyes. "Hi, Dell. What's up?"

"Oh nothing really. But did you want me to come pick you up or were you just going to meet us there?"

"Oh, I can meet you there." I said, getting up from the couch.

"Alright, see you at the picnic." He said.

"See you there."

I got up and started looking for something to wear. I decided on a floral crop top and blue overalls. I placed my outfit on my bed and hopped in the shower. The picnic started at 11 and it's 1 o'clock. I should get there around 2. I bathed, brushed my teeth, washed, my face, put my make-up on, lotioned up, and got dressed. I finished off my outfits with nude heels, silver hoop earrings, a black handbag, and a gold connected ring and bracelet. I sprayed perfume and headed from the door, grabbing my keys and putting my phone, wallet and portable charger in my purse. I hopped into my all black Jeep Wrangler and headed towards the picnic. I stopped by McDonald's to grab a parfait and continued to the reunion. Once I got there I spotted all of the green eyes and parked. I got out and walked over toward the centre of the reunion.

"Oh my gosh, no way!" I heard someone shout from behind me. "Nona?!"

I turned around to see Dell's cousin Lisa coming up to me. We hugged each other and talked for a bit. I felt a hand on my upper back and looked up to see Mama Sonya smiling at Lisa as a sign for Lisa to go. We shared our goodbyes and I hugged Mama Sonya.

"Oh, it's so good to see you." I closed my eyes for a brief moment to take in her full embrace.

"Like wise. How is your mother?"

"Cancer kicked her into a coffin." I smiled although I was a bit hurt about it.

"Oh my gosh. That's terrible. How is your father?"

"Healthy and living, praise God." I laughed a bit.

She sighed in relief, engulfing me in another hug. I heard Dell's familiar voice and we pulled back from our hug. I watched as Dell and Mama Sonya hugged and Riley gave me a big hug and a kiss.

"Hi, honey. Where's mommy?" I said.

"Right there." She smiled, burying her head into the crook of my neck.

"Look at that..... Riley is half her size." I heard Mama Sonya mutter with a sigh.

"Yea, but she always been tiny. I always thought she'd grow." Dell muttered back.

"Now, you two, don't be talking about my height. I'll grow." I said as we all laughed.

Ayesha came over and I heard someone say, "Hi wifey!"

Ayesha looked around and waved at Dell's other cousin Marissa. Marissa walked clean past Ayesha and came straight to me. I put Riley down and gave Mari a hug.

"Hey girly! I haven't seen you in a long time." I smiled.

We had a conversation for a minute and Dell and Ayesha had their own little separate conversation, along with Mama and Riley.
