The wind was cold, and droplets of rain just started to fall. That's what greeted both Auror, and Daily Prophet reporter on one of the streets of New York City. The darkness of the alley that their apparition took them helped their camouflage. Adelaide took out her wand from her coat's pocket, as well as Keithson. Around them was a busy city; full of muggles that walk around the streets, not knowing whether there's a magical human being present on their midst, or not.
"Keith?" Asked the short haired female, as her eyes observed their surroundings. There were words around the Ministry about the American side that she noticed were quite true. New York seems to be a bit glum than what she expected. Unlike the colorful scenery that Adelaide was used to, for example: Diagon Alley, the domain that MACUSA controls is showered with earnestness. Lupin thinks it's the result of the said 'Great War' that just occurred.
"What? Anything wrong?" Her companion replied, glancing at her way after looking at the small parchment that he enchanted the day before. He knew, beforehand, that there was something peculiar that's going to happen within the next few hours inside the Magical Congress. So, being the resourceful reporter that he was, he took the risk of hiring another person within the borders of the American Version of the Ministry.
"What time did you got that news from your super secret source?"
The English-Korean man scratched his head, a typical gesture of his when he's uncertain about something, as his foot tapped on the damp concrete. He wasn't sure what time he got the word about MACUSA's problem, as well as the other news about Mary Lou; knowing that it's a report worthy for his Auror friend to be aware of, which led to him rushing through the crowd of the Ministry that He previously worked under.
"Um-about that.. I think it was sent to me within the hours of three to four this morning," Keith answered. Adelaide searched within her mind about any possible motive, or motion, that may benefit the Ministry's relationship with MACUSA, and The Life of Newt. "There has to be a way to avoid any inconvenience.." The female muttered, walking back and forth within her part of the damp concrete.
