❝Caring may be your victory, or your demise.❞

December 1926

The six people who escaped from the sight of MACUSA stood around a rooftop overlooking the whole city. In the middle sits a small wooden shed, which was green and started to wore off, that houses a pigeon coop. Newt steps up onto a ledge and stands looking over the immense city. Pickett sits on his shoulder, clicking. Jacob is inside the shed looking at the pigeon coop as Queenie, who also looked inside, enters. "Your grandfather kept pigeons?" The girl asked, skipping a beat. 'Mine bred owls. I used to love feeding 'em." She recalled, while facing the muggle's way.

At this point, Adelaide joined Newt in standing on the ledge of the building, overlooking a certain part of the city. Every now and then, the Magizoologist's eyes would glance towards the girl on his side. He couldn't say it out loud, for it wasn't something that he was know for, that Ade was breathtaking. He had seen her in her years in Hogwarts, but never the version that she is today. She was more mature now, still carrying her Grace and dignity as her mask. Determination swirls within her dark orbs. The rays of the sun illuminated her tanned skin, as well as her brunette hair.

Adelaide concentrated herself on finding Newt's creatures within their perimeter, which was then disrupted by the owner of those beasts. "I'm sorry about your mother." He said, sympathy laced his voice. "I never got the chance to tell you personally. I- I haven't been back in London for quite a while."

The girl faced his way, as she gave him a small smile. "Thank you, Newt. And, you don't have to apologize. It's a reason that I understand." Was the British Auror's answer. Lupin's mother, Ming Ju-Long, was a woman of adventure. Most of the time, she'll leave London to explore some other places that she'd dreamed of as a little girl. But one night wasn't her lucky one, for Grindelwald was there and attacked every single witch, wizard, and muggles present. Her hatred for the man grew and grew every single second that numerous reports came in.
