Zak woke up in his bed the next morning and he noticed he was alone, this could only mean one of two things. Leah is making breakfast, or Leah ran for her life when she had the chance. (that was a bit dramatic.) he got out of bed and stretched his arms out waking his body up for the day.

As he made his way downstairs the smell of breakfast just hit him right in the face. He could smell Leah's famous pancakes from the living room. When he walked into the kitchen she had her hair tied up and her back faced towards him, she was baking pancakes. She made blueberry pancakes for herself and she made regular ones for him.

Leah could hear his footsteps as he entered the kitchen, "good morning." she says after she turned her head to make sure it was him who entered. Happy to see he is awake!

"Good morning" Zak reaches for a bottle of water from the fridge "How long have you been awake?"

"Since six a.m" She replies, looking at the clock it is nine a.m

    "What have you been doing?"

"Mm, I did house chores and while doing them my vinyl collection was just screaming at me to play them." Leah smiled at her dramatic response at the end, she's just a music freak when it came to her choice of music. She finished baking both of their pancakes and she grabbed the syrup and the butter, finishing off the pancakes with both and she slid her boyfriend his breakfast.

"Thank you." he thanked her gratefully, though he was still tired, she could hear it in his tone. Leah nods with a pretty grin on her face and pours herself a glass of milk and sits down on her seat at the kitchen table.

Pouring a little more syrup over her pancakes, Leah says calmly "I think everyone loved the new episode."

    "You think so?"

"From everything I saw this morning, they're excited for the next one. I also saw Aaron, Billy, and Jay post about it as well, good job sweetheart."

Zak had a little smile form over his lips, usually, he takes compliments with a grain of salt. Except when they came from Leah it felt so good, especially when it came to his work. His work is his baby, everything he put his blood, sweat, and tears into to keep it growing to this day. Every day he felt grateful for how it's still running today, then he met his girlfriend through his work.

Yes, Zak and Leah met through Ghost Adventures, but Leah had never seen the show nor did she know Zak or Aaron, Billy, Jay, or even Nick before she met them.

Here is what happened: a few years ago, The Ghost Adventures crew had an investigation at one of many abandoned and haunted orphanages they've gone to before. But this time felt different to Zak as he thought they should have a spirit medium walk them around the place and tell them what they were seeing, to help them prepare for what they will be up against that night.

After doing some research, Zak came across Leah. and by some luck of god, she lived in the town of the orphanage they were investigating, so she was their best bet. He reached out to her with his request and what he would offer if she accepted. But it did not take her long to accept the offer, she hasn't investigated in a long time and part of her missed it. So when a paranormal investigator reached out to her (after verifying he is real) she gladly accepted. The conversation ended with him giving her an address and a time to be there.

A few days go by and the day of filming arrives, Leah shows up at the orphanage alone and she meets with four gentlemen emptying a van with camera and ghost equipment. Wow, she thought walking along the sidewalk to see them, the last time she was a part of any ghost show there were way more people. So to only see four it felt good to her.
