13: Miss You, Love

Tonight is the night Zak and the crew are coming home. After a long week and a half of working and vacationing in their spare time, they checked out of their hotels at three in the afternoon and they started their long seven-hour drive back to Vegas expecting to arrive around nine at night.

    Leah expected Zak to be exhausted, from lack of good sleep and body pain. She wanted his welcome back home to be comfortable, welcoming, and loving. So when he called her that morning, he told her their plan to leave around three o'clock, she calculated in her head that he would make it home around nine depending on traffic, surely no longer than ten!

    She didn't tell him her idea, as she wanted to surprise him, but she decided she was going to fulfill his request from the other night of making a hot and delicious dinner when he came home and Leah would be in lingerie while cooking. She knew he would enjoy it and feel very welcome back.

    She was so excited to hold him again!

    Since around seven o'clock, Leah has been making a good dinner for the both of them. She was cooking chicken, with sides of steamed vegetables, mac n cheese, and some mashed potatoes with brown gravy on the side. Sure it's a lot for just two people, but one thing Leah's mother taught her growing up is that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And Leah put her whole heart into making this dinner perfect for him when he comes home in an hour, she hopes he will love it.

    She is wearing her lingerie right now, a black silk two-piece set and since it was just her home and cooking she is wearing a bathrobe and she wrapped the string around her waist and tied a bow in front of her.

    While Leah was in the middle of cooking she heard her phone go off and when she looked to see who was calling her, it was Chloe trying to get ahold of her, of course, she answered the phone, but she missed talking to her sister. It's been quite a while since they talked because Leah has been so busy with adulting. 

While her food is cooking on its own, Leah walks all around their kitchen running her hand through her hair while holding her phone in her free hand close to her face while having her sister on speaker. They talked for a good fifteen minutes catching up on how life is going for the both of them, then how excited they were to be reunited again at the beginning of April. It could not come any faster for them!

    "When you get here we should go to Roy's! It will be so much fun!" Chloe Blade, Leah's sister, says over the phone, Leah squinted her eyes and tilted her head to the side at her suggestion.

    "Child, you are not old enough to go to a bar."

    "I'm turning eighteen in August, they will let me in for sure!"

    "Um... first of all it's March, second of all, I don't think that's how that works girly"

    "Nah they will let me in, I just can't have alcohol, if all else fails then Zak can just bribe me in!"

    Leah laughs at her solution, her sister is a wild one that's for sure, she got it from her big sister. "That would be very poorly influential for us to do, now wouldn't it Chloe?"

    "Please, who are you being influential for?"

    Leah shrugs her shoulders, "fair enough." she only responds looking down at her nails.

    "We don't even have to sneak me out because Mom and Dad will be asleep by eight anyways! I won't even think about cocktails, while all of you get tipsy I'll be getting tipsy on a greasy burger! Also dancing and singing, Leah!"

    "Oof, besides the singing and dancing part, everything else sounds like fun"

    "Oh, what?! You used to perform all the time as a teenager!"
