Friday- one day until Homecoming.
(It's basically tonight—one day is including Friday)

"You nervous?" I ask Grayson, whose sitting in the back seat of my car, seeing as Ethan was in the passenger seat. "No," he scoffs. "I never get nervous."

"Mhm, whatever you say." We pull up to the school, and park in the nearest spot to the doors. We all file out of the car and head towards the door of the schools.

"Hey, where'd you go last night? I thought you were gonna sleep at our place," Ethan whispers into my ear, as we enter the school. "Couldn't," I simply reply. "How'd you get home?"

"Uber." He nods his head slowly, and continues walking ahead of me.

So... Lexi said yes. She basically cried, and it was adorable. You could see how much Gray liked her, and it just warmed my heart. Everything went successfully, and I did get it all on video. You could say, this will for sure be remembered.

I'm kind of nervous to go to the Homecoming dance tonight because all my friends have dates but me. I keep telling myself I don't need one, which I don't, but you know that feeling when you say you're fine without something, but you need it anyways. That's kind of me. I can't help but feel excluded or outside of the group, if that makes sense.

I wanna have fun, and I know I will for the most part, but just think about it. When a slow song comes up, and everyone starts to dance with their date, I'll be sitting at a table, all by myself, looking like a complete fool who can't get guys.

And some of you may think I'm exaggerating and saying 'you don't need guys to make you feel included!' well, true. But somehow I feel in this case I do.

All of us are taking a large car that my father rented for my friends and I. Our driver is sitting in it right now, waiting for us to get ready.

Ethan, Grayson, Lexi, Lacey, Cameron, Aaron, Kendall, their dates and I are scattered around my house, doing different things.

Us girls are in my room, taking longer to get ready, as the boys are down stairs chatting while they wait for us.

"How'd he ask you?" Lacey asks Haley, Aaron's date to the dance, as she applies some highlighter to her face. "Sign and flowers," She shrugs, "basic, but I'm thankful."

"Carter, where's your mascara?" Avery, Kendall's date asks. "Second drawer." She opens the second drawer, picking up the mascara, "thanks." I nod, and watch as the other girls put on makeup, seeing as I'm already ready.

Shannon, Cameron's date, sits down next to me sighing. She's finished as well, and now we just wait for everyone else to get ready.

Thankfully, I sighed up for taking photos at the Homecoming dance last minute, so I won't be an awkward child just sitting there, because my anxiety kicks in when stuff like that happens.

We all stumble out of the large car one by one, and walk our ways to the entrance.

Everyone follows one another for a bit, while I walk away from the group, going to the office to receive my camera. I tell the lady my name, and she hands me the camera. I thank her, and walk back into the area the dance was taking place at.
