The sun shines through the blinds of Ethan's window, waking me from the long night of sleep. Last night, Ethan and I talked. Just talked. We talked about the memories of our childhood, the stupid mistakes we've made, the depressing memories, the idiotic things we've said. We took a trip down memory lane. Tears were spilled out here and there. Mostly from Ethan.

He didn't want to accept the fact that I'd be leaving, and told me he'd spend every moment with me until I stepped foot onto that plane.

Funny thing is, when we talked, he failed to mention why he kissed me. And what it meant to him. And why he chose to now, out of all times.

I feel him shift from the position we're in, (media) and I take my arm off him, knowing he'd wake up anytime soon. His body turns to face mine as his arm wraps around my waist and his breath fans my collarbone.

Little, faint snore come out of his mouth, making me let out a sigh of relief, as I place my arm back where I was previously, loving how this is right now.

I stretch my freehand to grab my phone which was sitting on Ethan's nightstand. I turn it on, looking at the time which showed 5:56am. Deciding to get more sleep, I shut my phone off, setting it back down before dozing off once again.

"Ethan!" A voice booms through the room, once the door is slammed open. My eyes open slightly; irritated at the fact that it was still so early, and I was extremely tired still. However this voice; who is none other than Grayson himself, doesn't wake Ethan. Doesn't even make him flinch.

"Oh shit, sorry," Grayson says, once he sees the sleeping position we were in. I mentally scoff at him, deciding to get up. I untangle myself from Ethan's grip, getting out of his room to use their bathroom.

Once I've finished fixing my hair, and brushing my teeth, using the spare toothbrush I keep here, which by the way, won't be needed anymore anytime soon, I exit the bathroom, making my way down the stairs to see Grayson eating pre-made breakfast, probably made by their mother.

"Hey," Grayson says, not looking up from his phone.

"Hey," I greet back, sitting near him on one of their bar stools.

"So, why'd ya come? I didn't know you came last night," he asks.

"I came to tell you guys I'm moving to Australia forever, but ended up crashing in Ethan's bed," I shrug.

"Hold up, what?" He asks in shock.

I shake my head, wanting to change the subject, "I'm moving, now can we drop it? I want to have my last two days, days to remember," I give him a small smile, in which he returns.

Footsteps are heard coming down the stairs, and I instantly know it's Ethan. He turns the corner, his eyes meeting mine, plastering a big grin onto his face.

He walks over to me, enveloping me into a tight hug, catching me by surprise. "I never wanna let go," he whispers, jokingly. I laugh, snaking my arms around his back, hugging him back.

"Break it up, love birds. Time for school," Grayson says from behind Ethan.

"Actually, I can't. I have to use these last days to pack for Australia," I say.

"Oh," Grayson replies.

"I'll come help?" Ethan says.

"Sure," I say, walking over to the door and slipping my shoes on. Ethan follows, doing the same.

"See ya later, Gray!" I shout, and we both leave once I hear Grayson shout back. We get into my car, driving over to my house.

I think my dad would be sort of mad, considering I left the house without his permission. Knowing we'd be moving in two days too.

The car ride was short, as we both got out of the car and quickly running into my room. Ethan closed the door behind him, examining the messy room, due to the little packing I got in yesterday.

He sits on a clear section of the bed, watching me as I packed. "You wanna know why I kissed you?" He suddenly says, out of no where.

"Uh, sure," I say, although I really wanted to know.

"Because after you told me you loved me, I suddenly had the confidence to do so... I wasn't going to do it that day, but since I realized I had little time then I had expected, I just went for it," he shrugs.

"So, just when I found out you liked me, I had to move? Are you serious?" I sigh in disbelief.

"I'm sorry, Carter. I would've told you earlier, but you seemed to be avoiding me at school," he explains.

Darn it! Carter thinks.

I set down the clothing in which I was folding up to put into my suitcase to walk over to Ethan. I stands between his legs, looking down at him, while he looks at me.

"I love you," I say, almost tearing up, at the fact that I'll be leaving the love of my life in less then 48 hours. I puts my small hand onto his cheek, which he leans into.

I leans down to feel his lips once again, until my dad comes bursting into the room. I quickly take my hand away, turning around to my doorway, looking at him.

"Carter, where were you last night?" He asks, calmly.

"Ethan's place," I say, walking over to the folded clothes to set them into my suitcase. He gives me an uneasy look, before I says, "I was just saying goodbye," I explains, "but ended up falling asleep there."

He nods, looking over at Ethan, who was still sitting at the edge of my bed. "And why aren't you at school, young man?"

"I was gonna skip, so I could spend more time with Carter... if you don't mind, that is," my dad nods his head, giving us an okay before leaving.

Once he closes the door, Ethan looks over at me, but I keep my head down, pretending to be occupied with the clothes I'm putting into the suitcase. I'm kind of upset with the fact that he didn't say he loved me back. Although I'm not pressuring him, I just wanted to let him know.

"Carter?"

"Hm?"

"I love you, too."
