Lockwood's P.O.V

She pulled my face down to her height and kissed me.

He lips were warm and she tasted like the common peach tea that she loved. Her lips were so soft, softer than silk. Her eyes remained sternly closed. I was shocked at first, but before I had time to kiss her back, she pulled away and ran into the infant darkness before her.

It took me only a moment to process what had just happened, then I darted after her, calling her name.

The young woman I loved kissed me.

And I didn't kiss her back.

Then she ran away from me.

Where were we? It seemed like we were in some sort of catacombs. And how was she faster than me? I had longer legs...

It was to dark for me to see. And I tripped on something, I couldn't tell what. I landed face first onto the dirt and dust covered cobble stone.

I heard a low chuckle, and next thing I knew I was standing up, but not by my own intent. I felt myself move, but not to Lucy.

To the entrance of this place.

"You're probably wondering what happened boy..." A voice spoke.

"What?" I felt so confused.

"I am using your body to end what she started."

"She?" I asked.

"My wife." It answered. "That poor excuse for a woman." It started to make sense. The two were trapped, forever in a constant battle. And I was being used to end it.

Lucy's P.O.V

Finally, I came to a stop. I couldn't run anymore.

Lockwood was faster than me, he should've caught me by now.

But he didn't.

I knew it. I scolded myself, You've ruined your friendship with him by letting him know how you feel. By kissing him.

"Why do you cry dear?" A sweet voice cooed.

"Who said that?" I croaked.

"I did." I saw a bright light of white form into a woman about Chris's age, maybe a year older. She wore a white, bloodied nightgown and had long black hair. She looked as of she had been beaten badly. She was beautiful. But she looked to be crying. Crying blood. She reminded me of Annie Ward. How could anyone kill her?

"Who are you?" I asked, even though the answer was clear.

"I am the Mistress of the house." She hummed. She knelt down and touched my cheek, whipping away the tears on it.

And I wasn't ghost touched.

I sat there, mesmerized and amazed at what was happening at the moment.
