3rd Person
The group saw Chris off.
"You better come back, okay?" Kipps stated. "You've been gone for six years. Six years. You better come back in about a month's time."
Chris laughed. "Alright, alright! I'll see what I can do."
"Be safe." Holly advised.
"Don't die." George commanded.
Chris laughed again.
"Don't work yourself to hard." Lockwood advised.
"Take care of your talent." Lucy said.
"Please don't worry about me, I'll be fine!" Chris sighed.
"Lat time you said that you wouldn't come back for six years." Kipps scolded.
"And I won't ever forgive myself for doing that." She looked sad. And she really was. She thought that the two wouldn't want anything to do with her after Jess died. Apparently she was wrong.
"AAAAAAALLLLLLLLL ABOOOOAAAAARD!!" The conductor called.
"Well, I guess this is goodbye." Holly cried.
"It's not goodbye, just see you later. I'll be back." Chris consoled. "Just remember; Underhand, not backhand."
Bazaar. Why would Chris leave them with that?
She grabbed her bags, packed with her supplies. She was taking the train to the boarder of Germany, from there, she would take another train threw Russia and China. Then when land met water in China, she would take a boat to Japan.
She told them this last night.
From her seat on the train, she waived at the group of five, as a single tear rolled down her cheek. She smiled at them, and they smiled and waved back.
As the train started to take off, Lockwood jogged along the side of the train before it got to fast for him to keep up with.
The train rolled of into the vast distance. Then the five went home.
Back at home, Lucy sat on her bed, sketching. It was that picture from yesterday, only this time, it wasn't of the company.
It was all of them. Lockwood, George, Holly, Kipps, the skull, Chris, and, yes, Lucy.
These were the people (and ghost) that changed her life.
For the better.
"So, now Chris is a part of your life? You're okay with Chris?" The skull mocked.
"I feel like I can talk to Chris." She explained.
"You can talk to her but not me?" The skull almost sounded offended.
"You're a ghost and she's a person." Lucy pointed out.
"She's horrid to me! She was then, and she is now." The skull noted.
"What?" Lucy was puzzled.
"Did you think you were the first person of this generation to talk to me? No! Chris of course was the first. Marissa was the one who locked me up in this damn jar, Chris was the first one who found me in the Fitties agency somewhere, and now you bring me along with you on every case." It explained.
Lucy couldn't believe what she heard.
"So Chris was once a part of the Fitties agency?"
"No, to her, that would've been a fate worse than death. Her grandmother is the most important person there, and she hates her!" The skull stated. "Honestly, I can see why, I mean she was- wait, Lucy? Where are you going? We were having a conversation!" Lucy didn't wait around for the skull to finish. She had questions that needed to be answered now.
And she was going to get those answers.
One way or another.
A/N:
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand with that, I end this fanfic. Yup. This is the end. Unsatisfied?
Good. Because I'm going to write a second part to this book. But, it has a few drastic changes to it. And it's going to be longer. So, if you want to know more, I suggest checking it out. I'll bring it out soon enough.
I'm not as evil as Stroud.
I'm worse!
Please tell me if you enjoyed the story. Feedback is always appreciated.
Until next time.
