Lockwood's P.O.V
I ran back to where Lucy and I were last night. Maybe some answers could be yielded if we returned to the spot where Lucy died.
Half died.
I reached the spot fairly quickly, and I saw a soft light appear.
It was Lucy. Her ghost was white with a blue tint to her skin. Her eyes were white and she appeared to be crying. And yet, she still looked beautiful beyond my words.
She looked down. I recognized that look. It was the look she gave when she was let down with herself, and was apologizing to me.
"There's nothing you need to be sorry for Lucy." I said to her, hoping she'd hear me. It appeared that she did because she lifted her head and looked at me. She turned and walked to the left side of the room and placed her hand on a certain brick.
I walked over to where she stood. She moved away from me. I placed my hand on the same brick she had and punched it in.
It moved.
The adjacent wall had a certain part that opened up. Lucy beckoned me to investigate. And I did.
First, I walked down a set of stairs in pitch black darkness. The air was musty with the light sent of smoke.
Lucy went in front of me, providing her supernatural light to guide me.
Upon entrance to the room, I could see that it had not been known about for a long time. Lucy's light provided a greatly increase range of my sight.
The room wasn't big. It was all cobblestone. There were two tables and a stand in the middle of the room. In each of the corners of the room were lit candles. On the floor in the center of the room was a pentagram.
I looked on the tables. I saw cigarettes and an assortment of chains, salt bombs, and flares.
"Who's been down here?" I pondered.
Then I focused my attention on the stand in the middle of the room. There was a book placed neatly on it. The cover read; Ghost, Demons, and Spirits.
I opened the rather large book in a rush. What would this tell me?
The first few pages were tables of continence.
I looked threw them, searching for answers. Then I found one.
It was a chapter titled A Soul's Resurrection. I immediately checked the page number and swiftly flipped the pages until I came upon the corresponding number. It read:
A soul is the ghost that's Perseus has been filled. However, just like demons, a soul has many forms as well. If a soul bares the same appearance as when it has died, it is a living soul. Many will often refer this state as being half dead. If the soul looks to be in perfect condition, it is a complicate soul. These two that have just been listed are the most common forms. For more information, see page 594.
