"Whose engagement ring is this, because it ain't Braes?", Dave asked everyone.
Everyone got quiet looking around, but no one spoke.
And then Arielle raised her hand ,"Its mine".
"So you got engaged and didn't tell us , how long has it been?", Braelyn stood up with her arms folded across her chest.
"It's been 6 months ", Brandon spoke .
"6 months!!!!", everyone except Kaiden yelled.
Instead Kaiden sat back and chuckled , she had bet Arielle and Brandon that their secret wouldn't make it pass Aspen.
"I want my $200 too , I told you this little secret wouldn't last. Your absent minded self", Kaiden laughed with her hand out.
"Kaidy you knew too , y'all ruthless . We supposed to be family ", Dave spoke handing her the ring .
" I wanted to keep it a secret at least until we closed on our house next month. Everything has been so stressful ", Arielle spoke as she walked over and sat next to Braelyn.
"That ain't no excuse , first of all I just found out about ole boy and now you engaged", Dave spoke leaning against the fireplace.
Everyone busted into laughter.
"Just found out , Arielle has been with Brandon for 2 years ", Chanel announced .
Dave looked at Arielle hurt , he looked at her like a sister and for everyone to keep that from him . He felt some type of way, however he had to understand that it was her life .
"Davey I'm sorry , I didn't want you to find out because you are so judgmental . I wanted to almost be down the aisle when you found out. The way you ran off that last guy I was dating", Arielle explained.
"That was Korey , that wasn't even me ", Dave replied .
"No the hell that was not Dave , you know it was you . Cleaning your glock on the desk when you asked him to come into your office ", Braelyn laughed.
"His punk ass , that little nigga was scary as hell you ain't need him" , Dave spoke as he sat back on the floor cuddled next to Braelyn.
"You overreact bro all the time , I'm surprised Kaidy so open with talking about Chris?", Ryan told his brother putting gifts under the tree.
"Because Chris is -"before Dave could finish everyone finished for him ."..-My guy!".
Everyone laughed and finished wrapping gifts and drinking .
