"Mikey give it back!" I giggled as I ran after the tall black haired man, tripping over nothing on my way.
He only laughed in response as he climbed a pile of rubble. "Come get me if you can, unless you're scared." He smirked.I rolled my eyes putting my hands on my hips. "Scared? Please, I'm not scared. Plus, what kind of 29 year old inflicts a game of chase?" I asked giggling as Frank ran up behind me looking up at Mikey.
"A 29 year old who hates growing up that's who." Frank nodded. "Here," He giggled smiling. "Want a boost up there?" I gladly nodded and Frank knelt down on one knee, boosting me up the side of the rubble. However, I've never climbed a pile of broken down furniture and normal house items, I've never even successfully climbed a rock wall, so I just flailed my arms around trying to grab something to hold onto as Frank kept a steady hold on my legs.
Then Mikey poked his head over the top of the pile and rolled his eyes. "You're a bit slow, I'm getting bored." He groaned.
"Well I'm sorry, I've never climbed trash before." I said with frustration and he chuckled.
"Calm down," He extended his hand out for me to grab. "Take my hand I'll pull you up." I scrambled to fix the wild postion i was in as I leaned against the side of the pile for support and grabbed his hand. He was surprisingly strong despite his thin lanky appearance.
Once I reached the top, I spun slowly and sat down next to him, moving closer as I saw Frank climbing up. When I looked out, I gasped, the view was beautiful even though there was no color and we weren't too high up. "Wow..." I mumbled as Frank sat next to me, squishing me between the two of them.
Frank chuckled. "It's not a living sight, but it's something." he smiled and I nodded.
"Of course it's not too fancy considering the lack of color in it, but I don't think I could imagine it more beautiful with color.." Mikey looked around taking in all there is to see.
"But, it looks so sad..." I noted, seeing as the whole place looked like the world became an apocalyptic wasteland.
Frank only sighed resting his hand on my knee. "Yeah, but, it's home. Don't forget where you're from though, that's what happened to us. None of us even know if we have family. But, we've all became our own family in a way." He smiled and I nodded.
"I'm glad I'm apart of your family." I looked at Mikey. "Can I have my necklace now?" I sighed holding out my hand.
Mikey pouted. "Aw, I thought it would look nice on me though." He dangled it by his chest pretending to show it off.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed it from him putting it around my neck and clipping it in the back. We all sat up on the pile together for awhile just enjoying each others company and taking in the sight around us. Mikey leaned over resting his head on my shoulder and smiling. I giggled and smoothed his hair back.
"Twenty-nine? I think you're five." I nodded. Still playing with his hair.
"I thought you would already have guessed that." He giggled. I moved my hand away from his head and, like a cat, he grabbed my hand placing it back on his head. "Keep playing with my hair!" He whined.
I laughed and Frank rolled his eyes with a smile. "Come on you guys, Gerard, Ray, and Bob are probably looking for us." He shifted and started to get down, holding out his hand to steady me on my way down. But instead, Mikey sat up and pushed me down, sliding down behind me giggling as I screamed my way down.
Once I reached the bottom, I was completely out of order, with my hair every which way, and my dress and tights all dirty. "Michael...." I mumbled glaring at the man having a giggle fit on the ground.
"How did you know his full name is Michael?" Frank asked helping me up as I brushed off most of the dirt.
"Just a guess." We started walking with Mikey close behind with a huge smile on his face. "I knew his full name couldn't have been Mikey." I nodded.
Mikey elbowed me gently "Lighten up, you aren't hurt and it was really funny." He snickered.
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Funny that you pushed me down a pile of rubble?" I asked, and he only nodded. "You know I'm going to get you back, and it's going to be much worse than what you did." I smirked. I honestly had no idea what I could do, but the look on his face promised me he was scared.
