Chapter 8

" introducing Asteria." He shoved me into the room. Then, me being my clumsy self, I decided to trip and fall flat on my face. Of course everyone laughed as I helped myself to my feet.

" welcome Asteria, it has been a long time since any of us have seen you. " a dark skinned woman stood up, I believed her name to be Kali, but honestly I hadn't seen any of these gods in such a long time.

" thank you, indeed it has." I spoke slowly as I made my way to my seat beside the god I recognized as Odin. Then the awkward atmosphere was broken as the gods decided to chat to themselves. Of course, Odin decided to talk to me and I had to pretend to be interested in the nonsense he was saying. I would nod my head and occasionally add   
usfull insight, honestly I didn't want to be here but I had to. Gabe said the lucifer would show here tonight, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried. Honestly, I was terrified.

After 25ish minutes of small talk Kali stood up.

" the time has come to decide what is to be done about this second apocalypse. I wish to hear everyone's thoughts on this matter." She sat down again.

Odin stood up first.

" we've been here just as long as these angels haven't we? How come they get to destroy the world? Honestly I don't believe in all this.........." I zoned out as he started talking about how he believed the world was going to end. Suddenly he was interrupted by someone who presented his beliefs. His religion believed that the world was carried on the back of a giant turtle. Me being stupid, I laughed, very loud.

" and what does miss Asteria believe in?" Odin asked.

" I believe that when the world ends it isn't going to be one of us that end it. Some think the world will perish in fire and others think ice but me I think it's going to be the darkness. Always it waits, and it is always there before the light. The darkness is the single oldest thing in the universe and it will be our demise. " I said from my seat.

I was interrupted as the two winchesters were pushed into the room.

" ladies and gentlemen, our guests of honour have arrived. "
