Callum and I did nothing but talk in the garden. He may seem as if he's detached from anybody else but once he lets you in, you would feel nothing but the only person around that matters. Even if I wasn't anybody for him, I felt so special just by talking to him.

When I decided to call it a day, he walked me down to the library until my dorm room which is the loveliest gesture anyone has ever done for me. Once we reach the door to the lobby, I bid my goodbye.

"It's a pleasure running along with you, Vita." He said smiling at me.

"Ditto. Hope to run into you some other time." DID I JUST SAY THAT?!

He smiled sweetly at me. "I hope we do." He waves before he walks away, being eyed by women around him as he walks by.

"Will you look at that?" Morgan said, making me almost jump. She's leaning on the door frame grinning at me mischievously. "Hope to run into you some other time." She said, trying to mimic my voice.

I laughed. "Shut up."

Morgan walked with me to our room with a mischievous grin. "I can't believe you met a hot guy and didn't tell me." She said as we take the stairs, pouting a little at me.

I shook my head, chuckling. "It's not like we're dating or something."

I can feel her eyes on me, looking at me as if I have said some vague malicious thing. "I never said anything of sorts."

I rolled my eyes at her. "Shut up."

The thing is, I know I shouldn't be thinking about Callum and I having some kind of connection cause I think we don't have any. Yes, we bond in some way but that's only because we're friends. Unfortunately, he's distracting me from Karl shifts all my focus on him, making it impossible to see things other than him. Besides, he's dangerously charming and handsome that it's hard not to see him that way. Ugh. Get a move on Vita! You only just met the guy and you already think romantically about him? That is so not you! Yes, that is indeed not like me at all.

Marie, Kaitlyn, Morgan and I are on are way to watch the football game. Marie – being the only one in a relationship in all four of us—is giggling and slightly squealing as we enter the stadium. As soon as we get to our seats, we try to figure out who's going to buy the food downstairs.

"Girls, I know this may sound unfair..." Marie began, batting her eyes. "But I can't really go down. Lionel might come out any minute and I should be the first one to see my baby!"

We three roll our eyes out on her. "Whatever." Said Morgan.

I chuckled. "You know what, I'll do it. What are you guys having?" I asked, preparing to take a mental note on their choice of food.

"I'll have corndog!" Marie said, waving her hand as she grin sheepishly.

"Make that two!" Kaitlyn said.

"And I'll have a hotdog on stick." Morgan said, winking. Oh, Morgan and her perverse mind.

I laughed. "Save my seat alright?" I said, although I know they wouldn't let anyone sit on it anyway. I went downstairs and went on to buy what they all wanted. While walking, I noticed Callum doing something on his camera. I didn't know whether or not I should go to talk to him but I figured that I shouldn't so I went ahead to walk towards the hotdog and corndog stands when he called up to me.

"Vita!"

I stopped midway and wait for him to reach me as we smile towards one another. "I'm getting used to running into you like this." I said as soon as he's right beside me. He grinned boyishly as he scratches the back of his nape. I giggled when I saw him blushed a bit. "I'm just teasing you."

He chuckled. "Where you headed?"

I place my hands at the back of my pants back pocket. "Just going to buy my friends some food before the game begins."

"May I join you?"

I can feel warmth running through my cheeks and bit my lower lip. "Sure."

We walk towards the stand and wait in line. I noticed the camera hanging around his neck. "Are you going to document the game?" I asked.

He looked at me first before lowering his eyes on the camera. "Yeah. I have to cover the game for the school paper."

I smiled; partly amazed by the things I'm slowly uncovering of him. "You're a busy guy huh? Maybe the rumors are true."

He grinned. "Which rumor is it?"

I avoided his eyes and look somewhere else. "That you can be compared to Da Vinci." That's when I noticed the girls looking on our way. Probably ogling at Callum and somehow I feel a pang of jealousy and I have no idea why.

He chuckled. "That man is a genius. It's an honor to be compared to him but I am nowhere near him. If he's still lives, he would have felt disappointed to be compared to me."

I got confused by how he seems as if he really knew Da Vinci. The way he talks just oozes familiarity. "Sounds like you know so much about the guy."

He didn't spoke after that and everything felt awkward all of a sudden. I am so not used to this. Being with Callum is being me and everything just fell right into place. No awkward things like this. I'm stealing glances at him, trying to come up with something I could say to cut this awkward thing going on but was cut short when I realized that it's my turn to order now.

"What can I get for you?" Said the man from the hotdog stand.

Callum helped me carrying the foods for my friends. That awkward strain still within us and I didn't know what to do. When we get to my friends, I introduced him to them and he politely greets them back.

"Hi!" chimed Marie.

"Oh we all know who you are." Kaitlyn said.

Morgan elbowed her and eyed her for a second before turning her gaze on him. "Sorry about our friend over here. Nice to meet you, Callum."

As soon as everybody got their food, he spoke. "I'll have my leave now, ladies."

"What? Don't!" Marie said pouting.

"Stay, Callum! Watch the game with us!" Kaitlyn but in.

"Guys, he can't stay. He has to cover the game so he has to be downstairs." I said on behalf of Callum.

"Aw that's sad." Morgan said, pouting.

I rolled my eyes. Callum smile politely. "Nice to meet you again, ladies."

He was already at the isle of the seats when I called on to him and walk towards him. He waited for me and he holds on to his camera.

"Thank you for helping me with the food." I said trying to meet his eyes.

"My pleasure."

"And I feel bad running into you every. I would have preferred for us to meet in a planned kind of thing." I said, I was stunned by the words that came out of my mouth.

He smiled slowly and spoke. "I'd love that."

I couldn't help but smile back. "So I'll call you then?"

"Not the way where I came from. I'll call you, Vita."

If it's even possible to giggle in delight in front of him, I would have but I know I can't so I sated myself with a simple smile while my cheeks turned crimson. I nodded and he slowly walks down towards the side of the field.

Is this still considered as non-date kind of thing? Who am I kidding? Of course it isn't.
