I felt giddy. I didn't know what Nikolai has planned but I feel awfully nervous. It felt like I'm a little girl about to open her Christmas present she has wished to Santa for so long. We exited the dance floor, Nikolai guide me out from the people in the party and walk towards a man I didn't know or have met before.

He smiled at me and looks at me with utter familiarity; it almost felt like how Callum looked at me. "Vita, this is Alexander Moriatti. He's the heir of Italy's biggest satellite manufacturer." Nikolai said.

I took his hand that he has extended towards me for a handshake. When I looked closer to his eyes, it felt so familiar but I couldn't pin point where I have seen it. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alexander." I said, smiling at him while still in the haze of trying to figure out where I have seen his eyes.

"The pleasure's all mine." His voice, I can detect a hint of Italian and Greek accent.

"I will leave you too alone." He said then walk away to talk to a few people around the room.

This isn't what I expected, I mean, It thought he'd show me Callum but he introduced me to a person I have never seen yet seem so familiar.

"I know this might sound so confusing for you." He said probably saw the confusion in my eyes. "But will you allow me to walk you around for a talk?"

I smiled. "Of course."

We exited the function room and went about to the gardens. We talked for a few minutes and I have to be honest that there's something about him, a feeling I cannot point at but it kept telling me that I know him. "You seem so familiar. Have we met before?" I asked as we walk around the fountain with drinks in our hands.

He smiles, somehow I know that smile. "I'm afraid not. But I think your father invited my family in his gala a year ago, perhaps you have taken a glimpse of me during then."

I nodded. "Perhaps it is." We stood still by the fountain and he looked around.

"I was a messenger, Vita." He said smiling at me. He continued when he saw confusion in my eyes. "I am here to deliver you to someone."

Before I could speak, I heard footsteps coming from the dark side of the fountain and there emerge Callum wearing a suit. I immediately run towards him and envelope him in my arms. I shower him with kisses on his face and laugh a little, finally sated that we are in each other's arms. "I told you I'll find a way." He whispers to my ear before kissing me on the lips passionately and eagerly.

"How did you know each other?" I asked shifting my eyes from Callum and Alexander.

"He is my cousin." Callum said, looking at Alexander.
