Papa sits intimidatingly across us with his charcoal crisp business suit, reading a newspaper while sipping his coffee from time to time. Nikolai and I eat quietly in front of him. This is what usually happens every morning back in Berlin. We eat quietly and speak only when spoken to.

"I believe Nikolai has already told you of my reason to be here, Antoinette." He said without leaving his gaze from the newspaper.

I stopped eating my bagel and swallowed. "Yes, Papa."

He brings the newspaper down the table. "I'm a little disappointed of your actions." He said firmly, I lower my gaze to my bagel, afraid to meet my father's eyes. "I expect you to spend some time with Karl when we go to Wakefield." He said before sipping another one from his coffee.

"W-were going together to the ceremony?" I stuttered.

"Why yes."

"Papa, wouldn't that affect Vita's security?" Nikolai added with concern on his face.

"Yes, but with the generous amount I have donated to Wakefield, I'm sure they can do something about it." He said, bringing his attention back to the newspaper as he eats some sausages.

My brother and I exchange looks. It appears that Papa is not going to bring me back to Berlin after all.

While Papa is busy with other matters with his busy virtual meeting with the board members of his company, Nikolai and I were asked to stay in the adjacent rooms to my father's room. Since Papa is here, our rooms are watched over by his guards. Trying to ease my mind, I went to the bathroom and decided to have a much deserve bath.

As I soaked in lavender and rose bath, I can't help but wonder about what I should do with Callum and my friends. Upon confirming that Papa has no intention of bringing me back to Berlin, I have no idea what to do. I wasn't expecting this to happen.

After the breakfast, it's clear that father's intention for the donation is for the school to secure me from the media and paparazzi so as to not interfere with my studies. When I was in high school, I remember that I had to be home schooled because I was constantly followed by paparazzi and media since my father enter politics. Why haven't I thought of that earlier? Yes, I may stay in Wakefield but my father still insists on Karl and me to be together. If I tell him that I have a boyfriend, I'm sure he'll flipped.

By lunch, we simply ate in each of our rooms as father need to have some calls and other virtual meetings. While eating, I checked my phone and noticed that I have a few voice messages from Kaitlyn, Marie, Karl and Callum. I listened to each of their voice messages.

"Hey it's Kaitlyn! Heard from Morgan that you didn't want to go to class for today. I was wondering if you're okay. Tell me everything when I'm done with my classes. Love ya'!"

"Vitaaa, its Marie. I am initiating a girl meeting later. I can't help but be worried that you're skipping school. It's so not like you. Later okay? After that ceremony thingy cause I'll be watching it. Haha. Lateeer!"

"Vita. Please, talk to me. Stop avoiding me. Let's patch things up for the sake of our relationship and what will happen to you if Bundeskazler finds out. Call me." Ugh. This guy doesn't really give up.

"Vita, where are you? I keep calling you and it always went straight to voice mail. I brought breakfast earlier to surprise you but I ended up being the one surprised to see you nowhere to be found. I called Morgan and she said you didn't go to class. Please talk to me. I still need to bring you to that museum I'm talking about. Call me okay?"
