SITH LEON:-

"Shall we start?" Laze asked once we reached the garden.

"What's up with you?" I evaded her question, still perplexed.

"What?" She joyfully chirped in a sweet voice.

"Why are you happy?" I snapped at her, but she didn't flinch, neither said a word to my rude inquire.

"I just told you that you don't matter" I spit the words fully-aware of how hurtful they were, but she was driving me insane! And her feelings were my very last concern.

"Sith.. I don't have the whole day, so shut up" she warned in a playful tone, rolling her eyes.

Inadvertently, i smiled at the stupid complex of the playful tone and the strict sentence. Causing her to smile back.

Only then, I realized it!

Realized how desperate I was to get her back!

Not like I had her in the first place, but Laze was different.
I was subconsciously craving for something, I missed a thing without her around.
She was a requisite in my life. A friend, a unique companion, a necessity! I don't know, but whatever it was, it's a thing I never had!

"Don't you want to meet my mother?" I abruptly spoke with no previous thought nor warning. And I assure you, I was as surprised as her, if not more!

"What?" Laze looked bewildered.

"Do you still want to meet my mother?" I repeated my question feeling less confident.

Less confident! Heck! I actually panicked on the inside.
I didn't even realize what I said until I heard her "what"

Something is definitely wrong with me!

"The Iron woman huh" Laze finally spoke, diving in her thoughts. She circled her small chin with her thumb and index, and pouted a little.

"Of course I want!" she admitted at last, and I felt my muscles relax at that.

I'm becoming a coward!

"How about today?" Once again, my lips moved on their own, and I'm sure this time it showed on my face!

Laze zoned off after my question "hmmmmm" she hummed for what felt like forever, leaving me in suspense.

Did I look as desperate as how I felt!

"But.." She started, then paused for a while.

"Okay" finally, she answered with another one of her imperceptible smiles.

"Then let's go" I spoke as I got up from my seat.

"But I won't stay for long" she pointed out sternly and I nodded in approval.

"As you wish" I told her, strolling out of the garden with Laze in toe.

"Are you sure that she's home?" Laze asked me, looking worried.

"Just wait" I told her as I rang the bell once again. I always forget to take my keys, but I was fine with it since mom was always home before me, for I always come back late, but today, I wasn't fine with it!
Laze's restlessness was rubbing off on me as much as her terrible attitude.

"Are you sure it's okay for me to be here?" Laze asked once again, and I raised an eyebrow at that.
That wasn't like her, she was always careless and overconfident!
