Chapter 11

(Leon's pov)

I don't know what happened but something took over me. My self confidence grew and I had the sudden urge to show her something new I ones saw as a child.

I did feel embarrassed when I accused her of not being a virgin when she is. I never knew people like her knew how to be one.

Luckily that was put behind us and we were now jogging through the woods.

I could feel her pull on my hand becoming heavier so I looked back at her. She was breathing heavily.

"Can we please walk a bit I'm not use to running. Correction I hate running" she said looking serious.

I laughed a bit then stopped.

She bent over and took deep breaths. She then stood up straight again and looked around. She saw a large rock against a tree near by and started walking towards it.

I followed and she took a seat and dusted off her feet.

I leaned against the tree and looked at her. I was stupid, she's not as fit as me and she's barefoot. Who knows what's on the forest floor, between the fallen leaves.

"I'm sorry" she said still trying to catch her breath.

"Its chilled maybe we shouldn't go today. We can go back now, when you ready. We can go another day when we both more dressed for the occasion" I said smiling at her.

I leaned my head against the bark of the tree, closed my eyes and took in the fresh air.

I could feel she was looking at me after a while and her breathing was back to normal.

She jumped off the rock and I thought she was ready to go so I opened my eyes and got off of the tree.

She looked at me and bit her bottom lip. I've seen this before and it's not gonna end well.Maybe I was just jumping to conclusions?

She started walking towards me and pushed me against the tree. Nope I was wrong, right conclusion! Right conclusion!

She pressed her body against mine and looked into my eyes.

My heart went crazy and felt as if it was gonna burst out my chest.

She stood on her toes and placed a soft kiss on my lips then pulled away slowly not breaking our eye contact.

She took my breath away. I couldn't breathe.

She suddenly thought of what she actually did and broke eye contact.

"Sorry I didn't mean to I was just wondering..." she started.

My glasses were sitting half way down my nose so I pushed it back up and looked at her.

"What it would feel like" she finished.

That's when something took over me. I stepped towards her and pulled her close to kiss her.

She threw herself on me and I don't like that in a girl. But I'm now throwing myself on her and I don't usually do this, so I would say it's even.

This couldn't happen again but before I knew it she had me pinned against the tree kissing her.

I loved it... I think I love her. I was talking crazy. I'm just caught up in the moment. So I did the right thing. Well what felt right at the time.

I pulled away.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing. It's just I don't usually do this. I'm sorry it was wrong of me. I come from a world were the guy takes the lead and everything happens slowly. I just don't know how to react to this anymore" I said looking down.

She took a step back, fixed her hair and pulled her shirt right.

"I am sorry too. It won't happen again. I promise not to kiss you again if you haven't made the first move " she said.

Great now she hates me. I don't want her to but I need to know if she's just doing this for her own sport or if she actually feels something. This was the only way to test it.

"Do you maybe wanna go on date with me?" I asked shyly.

She looked at me with blood red cheeks and a little smile, then gave a nod.

I smiled back. "Tomorrow maybe? If you not busy we can meet back here and finish the journey?"

"I'd like that" she said with the red in her cheeks slowly dulling.

"Great. Well wear something comfortable, we gonna be walking far and at one point climbing over a few things" I said lightly rubbing the back of my neck then pushing my glasses up.

"Oh ah ye sure. I'll wear some gym clothes or something " she said lightly as well.

That's when it ended and my phone rang. It must have been my mother wondering where I am.

I answered and I was right. My mother telling me that the family are coming over for the night and that I need to hurry on back.

"I have to go. I'm sorry. Family stuff but I'll see you tomorrow?"

Nattlie nodded and we walked back to the cars.

She said she was gonna stay a little longer and I should leave her there.

I wasn't too sure about it but I couldn't stay any longer. So I got in the car and left.

(Nattlie's pov)

He drove off as I waved goodbye.

How could I have been so stupid. It was a mistake to kiss him. He most probably thinks I'm like every other girl who tries to see what she can get out a guy, how far she can go with him.

This time I can honestly say I didn't know what I was doing. It was as if someone took over the controls and decided to play Sims with me.

I feel so cheap now. I've never had a guy say something like that to me.

Leon is not like other guys, he's a gentleman and I was stupid to think he would find me, making the first move, attractive.

I know he doesn't hate me completely. He did ask me on a date but no one may know.

If Beth found out she would laugh and give me a speech. If anyone at school found out I will be ruined. Maybe this isn't a good idea but I wanted to see him so badly.

I laid on the hood of my car, watching the sun go down and all that was missing was Leon.

Maybe I should tell Beth. Everything about Leon and I felt right. She could help me see the truth. She could help me get him out my system.

I played through everything over and over again in my head till I fell asleep.
