Getting ready

It had been 2 days since the shocking discovery of beths parentage and every thing was hectic with the planning of Chris's departure for the Dickinson mansion. Master Harold, the head of the Dickinson house , was due to come back home this afternoon instead of in 3 months which wads his original return date. This confused most and lead to most believing that something urgent had come up.

Beth had woken up this Morning with Miranda demanding her to wash. Reluctantly she had accepted and went to find Theo so he could join her and once Miranda had heard this she had a field day with the improper lady-like actions. Beth however didn't care and claimed that it was natural in her home place. Miranda gave up and prepared a dress for Elizabeth. The dress was white with black and gold silk running through it, the shoes were white with slight heels and her hair was curled and put up into a loose half pony-tail.

 Theo was also dressed up with a white top, blue suit and trousers with white smart shoes. Beth and Theo were playing with cards waiting and waiting and waiting for Chris to come in and say that it was time to leave. They waited and waited and then the door opened.

"Chris is that you?" Beth asked hopefully

However once the door was wide enough to see the person who was standing there Beth sighed.

"Never mind," she said depressingly "Hi guys, I guess your coming with us huh."

"YEP!" Alex exclaimed then yelled "Ouch" as john hit him for his lack of inside voice.

So john, Alex and Philip joined the two and sat patiently for there friends arrival.

It had been 5 hours since then and still no sign of Chris. Beth was slowly getting frustrated and nearly shouted when the door opened again but forced her mouth shut as soon as she saw who it was.

"Master Christopher has told me to inform you of our departure"

"Thank you" Beth replied getting up but then stopped in her tracks once she thought of what the informer had said. "Our?"

"Yes I will be accompanying you to the Dickinson house-hold" She said

"Well that's great isn't it Beth!" Alex cried

"Ya it is" Beth replied not missing the pink tint on Sarah's cheeks.

"Lets go" John said so quietly that it was almost missed by those in the room.

"God john I completely forgot that you actually can speak sometimes!" Alex told him earning a clip around the ear and a laugh from Sarah who was leading them out the room.

They got to the carriage within 2 minutes and sat down ready to leave the house for once.

"Hi Chris, took you long enough 5 more minutes and I would have died of boredom!" Beth said

"No Beth don't die!" Cried Theo

"No I didn't mean it like that I was just joking don't worry about it" Beth said quickly trying to consol the child.

"Lets get going" Chris said ignoring Beths sarcastic tongue.

10 minutes it took to get there and by the time they all got out of the cramped carriage.

"You guys were not supposed to come you know" Chris said

"But we wanted to so there" Alex whined.

"What ever what's done is done lets just get out of this cold wind" and with that the seven of the ventured inside the Dickinson's mansion once again. Chris lead everyone up the stairs, down the corridor and into the very last room on the right were he stopped and knocked.

"Come in " a deep voice boomed

Chris opened the door and there stood a man who looked to be about late 30's or is early 40's.

"Elizabeth winters meet Master Harold Dickinson" Chris introduced.
