*Paisley’s POV*
Shain turned around with his eyes bright, and oddly enough the same color as his hair, “I don’t even know how I got,” pointing at his green hair, “this!” At that moment Ian walked around the corner, “hey Paisley I don’t think- what the hell happened to your hair dude!” Ian continued, “Shain I know you’re crazy but green is not your color. Why didn’t you go with orange or red or better yet a normal color like blonde or brown?”
He smiled, “well if I could remember why I ended up in my tub I could tell you that.” Turning his face to me, “hey Paisley do you think it’ll wash out?”
Walking closer to examine his green hair, “I don’t know man. You may have some serious dyeing to do.”
He looked at me, “can you fix it for me? Please.”
Staring at the white tile floor I shook my head, “yeah I think I can fix that or get it fixed.” Looking over at Ian, “care to drive more?”
He smiled, “are you kiddin’? I love bein’ able to drive. For some reason people don’t like to let me drive.”
I turned to walk out of the bathroom and patted his shoulder, “I understand big guy, we hear this a lot.”
…
“Shain what color are we gonna go with?” I was standing in the middle of a store looking at all the hair dye boxes. There was a sigh on the other end of the line.
“Chestnut? I don’t even know what color that is.”
I thought I knew but I could be wrong, so I looked anyway. Searching and searching for something called chestnut.
“Shain.”
“Yeah.”
“Chestnut isn’t your color.”
He sighed again, “well damn. Can we strip the color out?”
Standing back up, “yeah but it’ll kill you hair.”
“Paisley it’s already green. How could it get any worse?”
None of these boxes are anywhere close to his shade, and I don’t know how to combine colors. If we could do that then it would work.
“Julie!” I basically jumped in the air, earning me some odd looks from the old women in the aisle.
Remembering Shain was on the phone when he spoke, “what, did you just yell in the middle of the store?”
“Yes.”
“Well why.”
“I’ll explain later. Bye now.” I started walking, almost jogging out of the store. I hadn’t hung up yet and neither had he.
“....it’s my hair and she can’t even tell me why she’s shouting in the store...she’s crazy..whew man...I just don’t even know..” It got quieter, “.....she’s my crazy...I wonder if she can hear me..”
“Shain I can still hear you.”
“Sorr-”
Well I guess that was that.
I basically skipped back out to the car, calling Julie and hoping she’s available for at least two hours.
So it’s ringing and ringing.
“Hello.” She finally answered.
“Hey it’s Paisley, I got a favor to ask.”
“Well of course. What is it?”
I took a deep breath, “you got a couple hours free? Shain has green hair.”
