When we entered the house, we found Christy and her two guards playing strip poker. I believe Christy was winning, but seriously who plays strip poker when you're already half naked. However, we'll never know who would have won since Dante was furious and threw everyone out, including Christy. At least he's not treating her like a criminal anymore.

I tried to leave with the crowd. I thought that perhaps I wouldn't be noticed, but he caught me by the back of my shirt and pulled me back. When he asked me where I was going, I told him, to go enjoy the view. I could not have chosen a worst choice of words! He thought I was talking about the guys and snarled at their exiting forms. With the way he was looking at them I knew they'll have hell to pay later. At that I couldn't hold it in much longer and just burst out laughing. I've never laughed so much in my entire life. Dante looked at me like I've lost my mind, but he relaxed at the sight of my laughter. Hopefully that means good news for the boys; maybe they'll get a less severe punishment.

Now we're in his room where we'll have the talk, whatever that means. Hey that's how he phrased it. But before we came here to have the talk, he made me have something to eat first, keywords being made me. He made a sandwich and when I didn't take it he grabbed it from the plate, put the sandwich close to my face, and commanded me to eat it. I just snatched it from his hands. I decided it was easier to just eat it and get it over with, and so I did. Besides, I was famished. So now here we are, staring at each other, both waiting for the other to break the ice.

We're both standing since I don't dare to sit on his bed again. That's too dangerous, with the way I've been acting around him. Dante being a gentleman won't sit down if I won't. He starts pacing in his room and I decided to just lean against the wall and watch him. "Are you sure you don't wish to sit down?" He asked awkwardly.

"Trust me, I'm sure. Let me help you out a little, since the talk seems too challenging for you. After all, I do have like a million questions. First of all, where the hell are we?" I nod to myself as I say, "Yes let's start with that." He looks at me with hesitation, but then sighs as if coming to a conclusion.

"This is Limbo. There are different portals in the human world. The one in Southwick travels to our territory. Not all races hide portals in the woods, but almost all shifters do. We're in the Mystic Forest, and these parts of the forest are called Red Moon territory."

"And you just call it that, Red Moon territory, ooh so mysterious." I couldn't help the sarcasm, I use sassiness or sarcasm as a defense mechanism when things become too much.

"Well these woods are ours, so yes we call it exactly that." There was confusion in his voice as well as his face, and he looked so...yummy! I bit my lower lip and my eyes wandered to his.

"So...why did you call me mate?" I asked quickly to distract myself and I bring my eyes back to his.

"Because you are my mate!" The excitement in his tone was almost childlike and a smile tugged at the corner of my lips. Clearly he thought I was smiling because he called me his mate, since now he is wearing a smirk on his face. Although a sexy smirk, a smirk nonetheless, which wiped off the smile off my face.

"Why mate and not soul mate? That seems like the more human thing to say." I said inquisitively.

"But we're not humans. We're wolf-shifters. What some humans call werewolves." He sounded even more confused now. Shouldn't I be the one confused? He's the one shooting weird answers my way, not the other way around. "Brea, how come you don't know any of this?" He asked sounding really troubled.
