As I said before in ch 21, that chapter and this one are happening at the same time more or less, just different perspectives and places.
Please enjoy!!! XD

We were currently at my apartment in Boston. Apparently this was the safest place to hide from my mate at the moment. Chris had left us here just for a brief moment to get my godmother, and when I say us, I mean Christy and me. Oh and a soon to be dead bat, of course. My plans of killing him, however were cut short as my godmother came, in all her Grand white-witch glory, and saved the bat by locking him in my room with her magic. Though it was fun to watch him all confused flying backwards, it was still not good enough for me.
I went to the door that was to the left of my room’s door. It was a closet were I put my towels, my bed sheets and pillow cases. Everything was orderly put by color and size, perfectly organized as I left it. I’m still going to wash them since it’s been a while since I’ve been home. Why I opened this closet, you may wonder. Well because I had hidden a baseball bat in it.
“Please let me kill him. Phoebe I have to kill him!” I plead and beg, but for some peculiar reason I’m missing, my godmother won’t allow me to hurt the flying rat in my room.
“Be calmed child, you must find peace with the bat.”
“That’s exactly what I’m trying to do.”
She scowls at the baseball metal bat I was holding in my hands. “That is not the bat I was referring to.”
“Why are you protecting him? I know you can’t hurt people yourself, but you’re not that much of a saint. You would’ve let me kill Chris if he was the one on the other side of the door. Did you not hear how he had me under some kind of spell? He kissed me and I kissed him back even though that was far from what I wanted. Do you have any idea how that felt? On top of that Dante saw us…he didn’t need more pain caused by me…he sounded so pained. Ack! I’m going to KILL HIM!”
“Brea! Appeased your anger.” Phoebe commanded sternly. I glare at the door while still holding the bat tightly in my hands, but I say nothing back to her. “I am not trying to protect the bat, I am trying to protect my godchild. Now find a way to appease your anger, and let’s act with civility.” She gets in between me and the door, her back to me. She turns the doorknob but pauses. “Are you prepared to be civilized?”
“Sure whatever.” I reply dismissively.
“The bat.” Phoebe’s words came out as a command, still I try to find a way around them.
“Yeah let’s go see the bat.”
“Brea.” She said my name as though she was scolding a misbehaving child.
“Fine.” I sigh as I let go of the bat. “Civilized.” I assured her.
We enter my room, but when I look around and see the mess, I wanted to kill the bat all over again. “You bastard!” I shout as I stomp my way to him. “What the hell did you do to my room?”
He takes a step back, putting his hands up in a defensive gesture. “I did not do this, love.”
I glance around the room, then I glare at him, then I look around the room once more. I keep doing this back and forth, debating which I should do first, kill the bat or clean my room…that is until I can’t take it any longer. “Ugh! I must clean this room otherwise I’ll go insane.” I forget all about the people or creatures in my room and begin my cleaning and organizing.
