The Bond is becoming stronger. I can sense it. Unlike other times I've seen Rey, anger begins to bubble in my chest. Merely because she thinks of me as an evil monster, whose sole purpose is to kill. But the situation is more complicated than what it seems.

I shift uncomfortably on my bed, gazing around the room of my private quarters. Snoke ordered me to resign until the third lightspeed jump, which is approximately in a few minutes. The Resistance believe that by running away, they will be able to survive. How foolish.

The memory of the Jedi temple returns to mind. Luke, my own uncle, tried murdering me at the Jedi temple. Until a few minutes ago, Rey had no idea. Nobody knows the truth behind my uncle's betrayal. Nobody knows the pain inside my chest as I recall the memory.

That night, my dreams were violent. There was war; death ; destruction. Suddenly, something had woken me up. Rolling over to the side, I noticed the green light from the lightsaber immediately. Luke Skywalker's eyes were filled with rage and I could sense his thoughts as if he were speaking aloud.

My instinct was to reach for my lightsaber, screwing my eyes shut before making the roof of my hut collapse on him.

How could Rey have known about the incident?

Unless...

Luke is alive.

Sheer anger courses through my veins, knowing that the best way to end this is by getting square. That way, the nightmares about the Jedi temple will end. Now that I know he is alive, I will do anything in my power to silence the nightmares.

Regardless, my priority is proving to Snoke I am capable of ending The Resistance.

Rising from the coarse bed, I gaze outside my window, a smirk tugging on my lips once I see The Resistance ship jump once again into lightspeed. They are outnumbered, and soon, they will be gone forever — blown out of the depth of space.

In that instant, the floor begins to tremble mildly, seconds before everything outside my window blurs. We have begun the third jump to lightspeed.
