I called Anthony to tell him my idea of having a party  on New Years  Eve!I didn’t think about it much,I just wanted to spent more time with my friends.I haven’t talked to them for quite a while. I parked the car near the supermarket and called him.

 ‘’Hey…’’he said once he picked it up.

 ‘’You won’t believe it!!The best idea came up to me while I was driving.I thought of  having a party on New Years Eve at our place.You know,I want  to spend more time with our friends don’t you think?And I want to forget about everything that happened.’’ I said while opening the door.I got out of the car and started walking to the entrance.

There was a long pause on the phone.Then Anthony started talking again.

 ‘’Sounds good.I’m so glad you want to start a new life…I’ll call them right now to tell them about the party ok?’’I could tell he was excited by his tone of voice.I was excited too but not as much as him.

   ‘’Ok,see you soon.’’I hang up and got into the supermarket.I bought all the necessary about the party and went to the cereal  aisle because he is a cereal  monster and he finishes the whole box in two days. 

There was a girl,almost the same  age as me,trying to reach the cereal bars .She had long brown wavy hair,brown eyes and her facial expressions were so funny I couldn’t help but laugh…

 She seemed  surprised at first but after a second she smiled .Literally,I thought it was the most beautiful smile  I’ve ever seen.Whoa whoa whoa what am I thinking?30 minutes ago I was crying because of a broke up.Ian wake up!!!

 I went to help her cause it felt like the right thing to do.

 ‘’You can’t reach it huh?’’I said.

 '’Well yeah,can you help me?’’she said with the warmest smile in the world.

 ‘’Sure!’’I tried to reach it but I couldn’t.I was on my tippie toes which was hilarious and she started laughing so loud it made me laugh too!Unfortunately I didn’t accomplish my awesome goal.

A tall man,maybe in the age of 30,walked towards us and asked if we needed help.She showed him the cereal bars she wanted and he reached them easily.I was a bit jealous because he was taller and more muscular than me but she didn’t even look him a second time.I looked at her and smiled something that made her blush for an unknown reason

She was staring at me for a long time and I remembered I hadn’t introduced myself

 ‘’I’m -‘’she interrupted me before I could finish my sentence.

 ‘’No,I know who you are.Ian,right?’’she was walking down the aisle with the chocolate bars.’’ I have watched some of your videos!Smosh…’’

‘’Yeah,me and Anthony-you obviously know who he is-make videos since 2005’’I said

‘’Oh that’s cool’’ she was trying to reach another bar but she tripped and fell.I tried to hold back my laughter but failed.I leaned forward to help her stand up.Her cold hand touched mine which sent shivers down my spine.We stayed there,looking at each other for a while.

 ‘’I’m Violet by the way!’’she was looking at me with those large brown eyes.

 ‘’I love your name’’I said without thinking.

The owner of the shop interrupted our talk and asked us if we had finished shopping.He said it was time to close the shop.We nodded and paid for our food.We got out of the Supermarket and stood there,looking at each other.She seemed so worried but I couldn’t tell why…

 ‘’What’s wrong?’’I asked confused.

 ‘’My friend got my car keys and I don’t know how to go back o my house.’’she laughed awkwardly.

 ‘’I can drive you home!’’I was a bit more excited than I should really be.I don’t know if I’m ready to start a new relationship after all that happened.But why am I even thinking about it?I don’t know if she even likes me.

 ‘’No,it’s fine.I can go by foot’’she said.

 '’Nope,you’re coming with me!’’I grabbed her hand and I led her to where I had parked my car.

 ‘’Thanks!’’she said while we were on our way to my car.There’s a part of me that wants to fall for her,really hard,but then there’s the other part that doesn’t want to get hurt anymore.

 I clicked open her car door and she hopped in.I opened my door,got in the car and put on music.Before I started the engine I looked at her one last time and so did she.We both smiled and Ι started driving.
