Violet

Emily was there,watching me getting dressed.She was eating popcorn and laughing most of the time like she was watching a movie.I’ve never been that anxious and nervous before and she didn’t even bother to calm me down.Just sitting on the couch laughing her ass off.I took a deep breath and looked at the clock.It was 6.30 pm and I had to get dressed sooner or later.

 ‘’I’m going to take a shower.’’I said to Emily and got of the couch.She  was so absorbed in reading something on the phone that I doubt she heard me.

 I walked into the bathroom and took my clothes of.I sat on the edge of the bath as I waited until it was filled with water.I didn’t sleep much last night cause the only thing I could think of was the party.I know,I shouldn’t care that much but the fact that it’s Ian’s party kills me.The bath was finally full and I got inside.The water was hot something that made me feel a lot better.I sat there for probably 20 minutes but it was time for me to get ready.I grabbed my blue towel and tied it around me.I got out of the bathroom and ran to my bedroom.My high heels were in the same corner I had left them 3 days ago and my black dress was on the top of the bed.I used the blow dryer to dry my hair and then I started straightening them.Once I had done I put on my dress and left the room shutting the door gently behind me.

 Emily was still sitting on the couch texting to someone,giggling from time to time.

 ‘’Who are you texting to?’’I asked confused.She looked at me with those big,green eyes which kinda scared me cause she seemed socked.

 ‘’Pfff it’s nothing.’’she let out a nervous laugh and walked closer to me.’’Now look out you miss handsome body!Do you need help with the makeup?’’she said and put her phone into her pocket.

 ‘’Yes,thank god you’re here.’’I grabbed her hand and we walked into the bathroom.I sat at the top of the bath and she started looking at my cosmetics.She started doing my makeup without telling anything.When she is concentrating she keeps pulling out really weird faces just like I do.After 10 minutes she let out a sigh and stepped back.

 ‘’And you’re ready!!’’I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.I have to admit,I never looked that pretty before.I felt so much happier and confident.I hugged her and thanked her for what she did.

‘’Come on it’s 8 pm you’re gonna be late!’’she said.

 '’You can’t be serious right?’’I didn’t know time had passed that fast.I was starting to get nervous and my heart was beating so fast that I swear I could hear it.

 ‘’No,I’m not.’’she said and pulled out her phone.It was already 8 pm but I saw something on her phone that caught my attention.I saw this one picture of a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes and next to him was Emily smiling.

 ‘’Who’s that?’’I asked.

 ‘’Umm  it’s nothing.’’she said, put her phone in her pocket again and went to the kitchen.I didn’t believe her for sure but I didn’t have the time to ask her more questions.I walked into my room and put one my high heels.I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen where Emily was waiting for me.She walked towards me and looked at me with the biggest smile on her face.

 ‘’You look amazing!Have fun.’’she hugged me and winked at me.

 ‘’Oh shut up!!!’’I said and we started laughing.’’You’ll stay here for the night right?’’I asked.

 ‘’Yep all alone.’’she said and sat on the couch.I walked towards the door and turned around.She was texting again to someone with an evil smile across her face.Ok,that kinda scared me but I had to leave.
