Stepping into Madam Leveau's house, my sense of smell was assaulted by various dried plants and herbs. The instant overload of scents made me sneeze and my head began to ache a little.

There were various antiques placed on shelves around the room, dries leaves and plants hung from the high ceiling of the room. Leading me behind a cream colored curtain and into a dark room illuminated by only the sunlight coming in from the cracks in the board structure.

Madam Leveau lit a few candles bringing dim light to the room, looking around, I noticed a few tarot cards and a large glass looking ball placed on a small wooden table in the center of the room with two small cushioned stools placed facing one another.

Looking at the shelves to the back and left walls of the room, I noticed various glass cases with skulls and different bones in them. On the top most shelf, there were tiny heads which bore striking similarities to actually human beings.

Reaching up, I grabbed one of the heads, this head had light blonde hair done in two ponytails to the side tied with small sky blue ribbons. Looking at the face, I noticed the light blue eyes staring at me, strangely enough the eyes actually looked alive the button nose and the light pink lips made the doll head look like a normal person.

Reaching out, I poked the doll in the eye only to see the mouth open and a pained "oww!" Escape from the mouth of the small doll head.

Squeaking in fright, I jumped back, dropping the head on the floor.

"Owe!" The head said again as it rolled on the floor by my feet.

"Pick it up girl." Madam Leveau hissed in her creepy voice and I turned to look at her with a disbelieving expression painted on my face.

"No way!" I said shaking my head frantically "it's alive." I said

"Yes she is alive now pick up the girl's head." She said and I bent and retrieved the head by the hair. Holding it away from me I squinted curiously at the strange creature in my hand as it looked back at me with a glare.

"Put it down and come." Madam Leveau told me as she sat on one of the stools.

Returning the head to the shelf, I sat on the other stool, "Is that a real person?" I inquired cutiously

"Yes." Madam Leveau said placing some tarot cards onto the table before her.

"Why is she like that?"

"She couldn't finish her  payment to me." She stated simply and I shuddered to think what she would do to me.

"How much do you charge?" I inquired cautiously

"Do not worry about that, Jessabell." She glanced up at me briefly with her shocking orange eyes and my heart beat sped up in fright.

This woman scares the bullshit out of me!

"I'm sure you can more than afford my cost." She said and a horrifying thought popped into my head.

"Do you want me to pay with my soul?" I asked unnaturally horrified. I was so damn scared that I was literally shaking like a leaf on a windy day.

"I'm a Voodoo woman, little girl, not a soul reaper. Why the hell would I want your soul?" She asked sounding offended, however it was hard for me to tell because of the raspiness of her voice.

"Well I just-" I began to explain but she put her hand up to silence me

"Enough of this, we'll start talking about your wolf prince." She said looking at me intently.

"What about him?" I asked "I need something to reject him."

"You cannot leave a royal." She said looking at me like I was the stupidest person in the world.
