Chapter 22.5: The Night in Karuizawa!

A shorter chapter in Kaoru's view and more of the night everyone was at Karuizawa. I hope you enjoy the fluff.

Kaoru's POV

It all happened very quickly. I was talking to Hiromi when all of a sudden I heard some girls gasp. I looked up to see a potted plant falling down over Hiromi. Instinctively I yelled, "Look out!", and covered her with my body. As the pot shattered a piece of it gently slashed the side of my cheek.

I looked to Hiromi not seeing much except her blue eyes shining because of the shadow I cast over her. She laid on the ground one hand near her face and the other along her side.

The girls began to apologize above us and I looked up and smiled. "Don't worry about it ladies were okay, right?" I asked with a smile looking to Hiromi.

"Your cheek." She said looking up to me calmly.

"What?" I asked, confused of her answer.

"You cut your cheek." She said as she reached her hand up to my face and rubbed slightly where I was cut. I began to blush like crazy. I quickly sat up from on top of her. Soon enough footsteps came running towards me.

"Kaoru!" Hikaru said running up to me as I touched the side of my face where the cut was. "Your hurt."

"I'm fine. It's just a little cut." I said with a slight smile to my brother. It was time to work out magic.

Hikaru leaned on my shoulder from the front. "Don't scare me like that." Hikaru said quietly. We continued our act and were rewarded refreshing points from Misuzu. We won the game. Haruhi and the hosts came outside and Haruhi helped Hiromi up as Hikaru and I stood up.

"Congrats you guys." Hiromi said smile at her as Hikaru and I shot two evil grins her way.

"You planned the whole thing didn't you?" Haruhi said looking at us shaking her head.

"Who could say?" We said in unison.

"I should help you with your cut since you saved me and all." Hiromi smiled as she walked over to me.

"Okay." I nodded. Saving her was a bit dramatic, but I could use the cleaning up, I thought.

"You can go into the new room we just won." Hikaru bragged making me chuckle slightly.

Hiromi chuckled. "Don't brag to much okay? We wouldn't want anyone to get to upset." Hiromi smiled to Hikaru who shrugged as they headed to the room. I could tell she was trying to spare the feelings of the boss.

We headed to the room in silence. I wasn't sure what to say do I didn't say anything.

"I'll get the first add kit from the bathroom really quick." Hiromi smiled as she turned on the lights and walked to the bathroom to get the kit and a wet towel. While she did that I sat on the edge of the bed and started whipping my cut with my finger. It was bleeding bad and I didn't want to get blood on my clothes.

Hiromi began walking back towards me with the first aid kit. "Don't do that." She said as she moved my hand away from my cut by grabbing my arm and putting it down. She got a stool and sat on it in front of me. I watched her as she concentrated on my cut. She was determined and it made me get butterflies for some reason. "Here." She said as she wiped it with the towel instead making me wince slightly. "Sorry but stay still for just a sec okay?" She said as she got some peroxide and put it on a cotton swab. I nodded slightly. "It's gonna sting a little bit." She said as she put her hand on the other side of my face and the peroxide on my cut.
