Chapter 57: The Hosts Have a Relaxing Day!

The next day came around and Hiromi got out of bed. She had a lot to do today. She had to tell Haruhi what happened, she had to apologize to Rei, and then she had to figure out what was going on with her and Kaoru.

She went to the bathroom and got dressed for the day. She wore a yellow sundress that went to her knees and she wore her hair half up half down. She looked in the mirror to see her cheek a bit splotchy with red, but she didn't worry about it too much.

She walked out and looked to see Haruhi waking up. "Where are you going?" The short haired sister asked with a slight tilt of her head.

"I have to talk to Rei, but first I have to talk to you." Hiromi smiled lightly as she walked over to her sister. She would've told her last night but as soon as Kaoru left Hiromi went to bed.

"Hiromi, what happened?" Haruhi asked looking at her.

"Well, last night after you left Kaoru came to check on me." Hiromi started as she looked to Hiromi. "He came in and helped patch up my knee and then we talked about what had happened."

"You didn't- do anything did you?" Haruhi asked looking at her confused.

"Well after we talked he told me that Rei broke up with him because she knew he still liked me. Then he told me that he loved me and then I kissed him and then I said it back. And I don't know wether to be excited or worried." Hiromi explained talking quickly. She was a little nervous as to what Haruhi would think.

"So he didn't cheat on Rei?" Haruhi asked as Hiromi shook her head. "And now you two are together?"

"Well we didn't really get to that part. I was just worried for Rei, that's why I want to talk to her." Hiromi answered with a nod.

"And what about Kyoya?" Haruhi asked hitting all the points Hiromi worried about.

"I don't know. I wasn't going to talk to him personally about it. We broke up a while ago so it's not like I need his permission or anything." Hiromi responded more to herself than Haruhi.

"Well I think it's about time." Haruhi smiled looking to Hiromi. I can tell he really likes you.

"Yeah." Hiromi chuckled lightly before looking at her sister. "Well I should go check on Rei. I don't want her to be upset with me." Hiromi said nervous as to what Rei would think. It was all she could think about.

"Rei is one of the nicest people I know. She'll probably be very supportive." Haruhi explained to comfort her sister.

Hiromi hugged her sister tightly. "Thanks sis. I love you." She smiled.

"Love you too." Haruhi responded.

She walked out and nervously tapped her side as she headed to Rei's room. She knocked on the door and she answered. She looked like she had been crying. She still smiled though.

"Hey Hiromi. How are you?" Replied asked looking to her. "Did Kaoru see you?"

"Yeah he did. He told me what happened." Hiromi responded already feeling guilty. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it." She shook her head. "It's not like you could do anything about it."

"But I could've Rei. I could've told him to-" Hiromi started.
