School had started again from the weekend and Hiromi told her dad about everything. At first he was over dramatically angry about it, but then Hiromi calmed him down. She told Haruhi as well and she was happy for her sister.
As they headed to school on the bus, it was silent for a while. "Hey Haru?" Hiromi said looking to her sister.
"Hey." Haruhi said as she turned toward Hiromi.
"Do you have a preference for me?" Hiromi said quietly.
"A preference for?" Haruhi asked looking to her.
"Who I should choose." She responded playing with the strap of her backpack.
"I think you should choose who you think will make you feel good. Even if that person is just yourself." Haruhi said as she put her hand over Hiro's.
"I just don't want to hurt anyone." Hiromi said looking down.
"You say that a lot. I think it's just your way of stalling." Haruhi moved her hand away.
"But I-" Hiromi started than realized she was right. "I guess that's partially true." She wasn't intentionally stalling she just didn't know what to do.
They got to school and Hiromi went through the day. She had to study a little harder lately since she had been zoning out in class. She of course kept her grades up to par so she could stay in Ouran.
It was time for lunch and the sets of twins sat together. "So how was your weekend?" The orange haired twins asked in unison.
"It was pretty good." Hiromi smiled. She didn't want to say anything in front of Kaoru that would make him upset.
"Mine too." Haruhi said.
"Why did you guys do?" Kaoru asked.
"Did you find more clearance items?" Hikaru asked.
"There was a few different things and pork is on sale later today so hopefully we can get some." Hiromi smiled.
"Ooo pork on sale!" Haruhi said happily. "Sounds good."
"You guys are weird." Kaoru said looking to them.
"You are weirder." Hiromi replied.
"Well your the weirdest." Kaoru said with a smile at Hiromi.
"Thank you." She said proudly. Hikaru and Haruhi watched slightly disgusted by the flirting going on.
The school day ended and it was time for Host Club. They all matched in classic samurai outfits of the late-edo era. It was specified for men but Hiromi wore the costume anyway. There had to be some chance that a woman disguised as a man to be part of the order, right? Either way the guys loved it and could honestly care less. The outfits also made Hiromi and Haruhi look almost the same because of hair extensions.
